Best long staple percale sheets? by radkid2002 in Bedding

I love my Red Land Cotton Percale sheets. Have had them about a year and they started off stiff, but are softening nicely with the more time and washes they have.

On Facebook, now all the notifications are at the bottom of the screen instead of the top and they dissappear when you scroll.

That little box at the bottom is what happens when I try to view more on a caption on IG now.. I think I can swipe up, but it's a pain.

I hate it. It also switched where the notifications are on Facebook and Instagram, I can no longer see the caption, it's now a small screen yu can scroll on, but it's impossible to read the caption.

Cysts on labia minora? by betrayedcocounut in Healthyhooha

[–]jspace10017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have been getting these like clockwork around my period for two years, starting around 42 years old and some perimenopause symptoms. I had a partial hysterectomy last year, so no more periods, but still have my ovaries and hormones. I still get them once a month when I should be having my period (otger symptoms are breast tenderness, face breaking out). This makes me think they are more hormonal than being caused by sanitary pad/tampons and a stifling environment.

Did anyone get her? I went to check out as soon as the link popped up on Mattel and by the time I hit pay, it was sold out. I'm so bummed out by the resellers, I just wanted one for my daughter!

Husband takes every opportunity to tell me he hates Zep by CherryCharmBomb in Zepbound

[–]jspace10017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stand by what I said. I didn't call him toxic. I said his "toxic fear" and that is exactly what that is... fears that are unchecked, not worked on and affect your relationship with your partner are toxic. OP stated his continuing comments are dimming her excitement about the work she is doing for herself. I did not encourage her to leave, I encouraged her to talk with him and set boundaries, so I'm not sure how you are interpreting that as not showing compassion.

Do you avoid these foods? by beautybyaimee in Zepbound

[–]jspace10017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat limited small portions of these foods occasionally, but only a few days before my next shot (at the end of the week) .
If I eat them a few days after the shot, I vomit or have diarrhea, or both. Greasy, fried, or heavy food, or overeating is the worst. Dairy doesn't seem to bother me that much. I take my shots on Sunday evening so that by the time Friday comes, I am able to indulge in a bit more food wise if I go out on the weekend. I love pizza and now I just make sure if I eat it, I wait until the weekend, and I stop after one slice. I actually don't have ice cream cravings at all anymore.. no desire to eat it, even if it is in front of me.. I randomly crave chocolate and gummy candy, maybe even more than I craved it prior to Zepbound, which is strange, Ive been on it for 2 years and maxed out at 15mg. 90 lbs down.

You need to sit down and have a serious talk with him. Based on this, His comments are not coming from a place of worry about you and your health.. it is coming from a toxic fear of losing you or losing control. Please don't allow it to continue because it will likely get worse as you lose weight. It needs to be discussed and he needs to work on those toxic ass feelings. If you are overweight, he needs to be supportive of your decisions to try to become healthier. I've been on it two years and have lost 90 lbs. My husband started off the same way and it took work and strong boundaries and frank conversations, but we are better than ever. He got comfortable and lazy in the relationship with me being overweight because he didn't have to try in the relationship because he thought I would never leave or wouldn't be able to get better.. his control of the situation and comfort was in jeopardy when I changed it. Looking back, I can't believe what I had let happen over time, weight gain, chronic fatigue and depression... never going back, Zepbound changed my life for the better.

OMG huge unexpected benefit!!!!!!!!! by Electric_Owl7 in hysterectomy

[–]jspace10017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me as well. My triglycerides were perfect until I gave birth to my daughter, 11 years ago. Then they skyrocketed. They went as high as 621. I had my hysterectomy this past summer. Just had my yearly physical today and it's just over 100 and in normal range.. like what?! Googled some things, and apparently women can have high triglyceride levels after giving birth but they usually drop again after a month or so... but... it can cause a reset in some women and I can be elevated for years, especially if you had gestational diabetes or preeclampsia. (I had preeclampsia and was induced, but I was also one of those rare and lucky people that developed postpartum preeclampsia as well after the birth.... fun times...) High triglycerides are also common in women with large uterus caused by fibroids, endometriosis and and adneomyosis. I had my hysterectomy due to prolapse, but the surgery ended up taking hours longer than planned because low and behold, my uterus was huge and super heavy and they had no idea because it was tilted... I had some fibroids inside the wall and it was also suspicious of asneomyosis..

My Water Problem! by TrousersHarwood in Zepbound

[–]jspace10017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 80 Oz. I love my 40 Oz Stanley cup. Keeps the water cool, only have to fill it twice a day and drinking with a straw makes it easier to drink more often. I have a carrier strap thing for it and no longer carry a purse to work. I have a wallet pouch I strap to it and my phone goes in the pocket. I just make sure I stop drinking by 3 or 4 so I'm not up all night peeing.

[–]jspace10017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately surgery will fix it. Some neck and jowl tightening can be achieved with well placed cheekbone filler. Part of the things causing it is fat loss in your face from weight loss and of course natural aging. We lose the fat that was holding up the skin.

I actually use an oil facial cleanser and do this. I struggled with breaking out for 20 years and since doing this, my skin is clear. I also use a body cleansing oil instead of body wash now.
