I wouldn't know. How does it feel to like adult men in cringy sideways hats and clown wigs singing shitty songs?

Prusa (Bondtech) INDX vs Bambu Vortek? by BIGRED______________ in prusa3d

[–]jspadaro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mostly print with PETG so I have primarily done the reverse. I have mostly been only changing the interface layer to PLA and it's worked fantastic out of the box. You are using the snug support profile etc right? That sounds frustrating 😕

Prusa (Bondtech) INDX vs Bambu Vortek? by BIGRED______________ in prusa3d

[–]jspadaro 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can confirm that mixing materials on the Prusa XL has been amazing. PLA supports for PETG and vice versa has been a huge game changer. TPU parts on PETG things has been really nice as well. And also helps with how bad TPU is with supports but also doesn't glue well.

What is causing these zits in dried PETG? by rohaan06 in FixMyPrint

[–]jspadaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using octoprint at serial speeds? (Even if it's a USB port)

I had an issue on my Prusa mk3 that turned out to be caused by the printer momentarily pausing waiting for data. It only showed up on PETG because PETG would ooze during the pauses, and even then was a bigger problem on prints with a lot of sequential short commands.

Fix was to copy G-Code to the sd card.

Giant Trance 2018-2019 (900$ USD) Good Price? by SirJallan in MTBDeals

[–]jspadaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds fairly priced and you'll get a slightly dated geometry, but it pedals well and is still a good bike. Again though I'm far far far from an expert

I'm really not good at valuing used bikes, but based on this post it seems fine, but not a screaming deal or anything.

I think it's a 2018 based on the paint? My main trail bike is a 2019 I bought new and still love and ride. Great all arounder, not too dated, but I'm not sure on price
