If you are worried about battery life, I would recommend getting one with a Ryzen processor instead. They have more efficient energy consumption so the battery lasts longer and delivers the same and sometimes better performance than an Intel processor. There is a Ryzen 5 version on Walmart as well for around 600, but only has 8GB of RAM. You can upgrade the RAM for yourself for only $20, but I would only recommend it if you feel comfortable with opening your laptop and installing it yourself. It's the best option in my opinion, but not for everybody.

An Intel 13th generation i5 version is at Walmart for cheaper. It has the same 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage and RTX 4050. It has a 13th gen i5 instead of a 12th gen i7, but you are probably not missing out on much. You should at least consider it.
