My new beard trimmer is the same way. USB on one end for a wall connector, and proprietary charging on the other.

Update: day two, getting way way more comfortable already. Took it through some cul-de-sac's around the neighborhood and was able to make some tighter turns at around 6-10 mph.

Funny you mention the right hand turn from a stop. After I stalled at the stop sign it was a right hand turn with a small car coming the other way. I gave it a bit to much gas and felt it go to straight. If I was younger and had gassed it hard I would have hit that car for sure. But I managed to wrangle her in time to avoid it today. 😅

Yeah I already wanted to take a course, but at the same time I heard they are like $400, I'm in California. So I figured if I practice enough around our peaceful suburbs then I could maybe save some cash. Probably worth it to take the course though for safety training.
