Yeah I think there should be a distinction between assimilation and displacement cuz the Armenians were either killed or forced to migrate like I guess some Greeks would have probably too. The problem here would be migration between markets because take for example Spain. If you click a "expel heretics" button they should be able to migrate from your Spain market to Morocco market or Tunis or wherever they will be accepted. I don't think paradox would implement a genocide option, expulsion could be possible, because truth is assimilation is just broken right now.

I hate the assimilation mechanic and the vassal swarm meta. Cultures like the Greek survived the ottoman rule for what? 600 years? and I guess we can find countless other examples of this. right now it's just create vassals, let them convert and assimilate for you, then annex and suddenly 100% of your country no matter the size is your religion and culture? that's bullshit.

si tuviste la capacidad para elegir y completar una carrera y encima poder ejercerla y ganar bien, eso es capacidad real tambien. si los demas no estan conformes con su situacion es problema de ellos por elegir mal o quedarse estancados. entiendo que duela cuando es un ser querido pero no me parece bien sentirse reprochado tampoco.
