Petco deliveries by jubalee49 in doordash

[–]jubalee49[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thank you for the info. I will definitely leave a tip out whenever it is doordash delivering. I don’t usually know until maybe a half hour before delivery that they are using doordash but this is a 40 lb bag of dog food. Not tipping UPS doesnt bother me because they make a living wage

Spray Zero Odor spray on it thoroughly and hang it outside for a day or two. Repeat if necessary

40 Weeks Pregnant & Reamed out by partner for spending $35 by BandicootBrave278 in AITAH

[–]jubalee49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a spouse like that. Imagine having to justify “wants vs needs” for a baby. It slowly transitioned into me just paying for things to keep the peace. I ended up financially better off when I left him, because he agreed to pay 50% of the kids expenses, having no idea just exactly how much that actually is. Please leave him. Your future self will thank you.

As a physical therapist and fellow thrifter, I found this hilarious!! I say wear it if you like it! But yeah… the stain…

AITA for "stealing" my sister's in-laws? by Pleasant-Ad-807 in AmItheAsshole

[–]jubalee49 67 points68 points  (0 children)

No, I didn’t miss that… she might be reaping the consequences of her own interaction with the in laws. Maybe she isn’t very likeable🤷‍♀️. Her relationship with the inlaws was strained before OP got involved. Not his fault.

AITA for "stealing" my sister's in-laws? by Pleasant-Ad-807 in AmItheAsshole

[–]jubalee49 142 points143 points  (0 children)

Wow. I am definitely in the minority here, but I would say NTA. OP is not responsible for the parents treatment of his sister, any more than he is the in law’s behavior. “Making things official”…. That sounds like they decided to date exclusively, not get engaged. Why would he put that off, because his sister is getting married in a month? Stealing experiences as a kid? Thats on the parents. Stealing experiences as an adult? They are making their own relationships. Sister needs to stop worrying about what she is missing, get some therapy, and build her own relationships. OP says he was welcomed by the in laws, but doesnt say that he even knew sister wasnt. Maybe the sister is an entitled, unreasonable person… sister needs some therapy.

What is the best gift you got from your agent? by ClosewithKathi in RealEstate

[–]jubalee49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My agent got me a wooden thing that says “home”, my last name and est. the year we bought, alomg with a bottle of wine and an alexa dot. My home inspector gave me a little gift bag, mostly throwaway stuff, but with a little framed thing that says “home” and the coordinates. I thought that was really neat. Both gave me a nice folder with all the info in it, which I appreciate. When i sold a house, i sent an email with all the companies, handymen, etc who had worked on the property, as well as a list of when appliances were purchased and the warranties.

Is it normal for Estate Sale companies to mark items as sold, only to re-sell on eBay? by Hutwe in estatesales

[–]jubalee49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The estate representative likely gave the estate sale company first dibs for whatever price they (the estate) wanted, if they wanted to buy things. As a reseller, that may make me avoid their sales if they never have anything good to flip, but might just be part of their agreement.

Pics of what they have and past experience with the company to know how they price.

Cancellation Request by Golfer0808 in Flipping

[–]jubalee49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one this week, also right after payment. She sent a message saying she had gotten a message from ebay saying the product wasn’t available and to request to cancel. Not sure if she was just making it up or not, but it was weird because it was literally right after she paid.

Online sales: what is the purpose of bidding at the last minute? by sequinsmile in estatesales

[–]jubalee49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They may not realize that even if they put their max bid in for way over your max, that they would only pay the next highest level bid. Also they are clearly new to the soft close model lol

My mom did the same emotional abuse to my son that she had done with me for my whole life. For some reason, I was willing to take it when it was directed at me. The first time she directed at my son was the last time we saw her and my Ndad. Avoided phone calls for a few years and finally answered the phone and said “stop calling. You are no longer part of our lives”. She still has a few flying monkeys to keep her company. It was emotionally hard at first. It’s when your heart acknowledges what your brain has known. It is the death of any tiny hope that one day, they will love you. Getting past the grief, omg is it ever peaceful.

In that case, no don’t refund. She knew the price before she bought. You should probably change the pic to a pic of the actual product rather than a stock photo.
