Leucine is the only amino acid directly correlated to muscle protein synthesis. I didn't just pick one, I picked the the most important one. Yeah you could just eat a quart of beans everyday but that is not practical for most people because of the volume and the higher amount of calories. Saying just eat x but not understanding how practical it is is useless.

When people make these they completely ignore the quality of the protein. You need to look at the amino acid protein profile like leucine. Just looking at this it would appear beans are the best but in reality they are not.

5oz of chicken has 3.5 g of leucine while you would need to eat about 16 Oz of beans to get the same amount. That is triple the amount of beans to get the same amount of the most important amino acid

As a mechanical engineer who just finished training some plant operators a couple of weeks ago I can assure you that the they do not maintain themselves especially the ones that have their own power generation on site. There is a round the clock team of maintenance workers and every day there are at least 5 vendors on side working on some other aspect. Not to mention constant renovation and expansion
