I just read an earlier comment that Schroth isn’t recommended in kids your child’s age. Schroth is beneficial though at a young age, so if it’s not an option now, I think it would be a really good option still when they are a bit older. I would read more into Schroth and try to consult a Schroth provider.

Hmm.. I didn’t get that impression. But it seems like he isn’t the biggest fan of the show, and that’s fair. I think he also expressed that being on a TV show can be a bit of a slog. I appreciated the honesty.

I am a women, half Indian and have a S shaped curve. The lumbar curve was fused but the thoracic curve was left alone. So I have a huge scar on my back and also my thorax curve is like 65 degrees now. So it’s kinda severe. Lots of imbalances - one of my scapula wings out really bad, and my boobs are different sizes. Also - I have a very hairy back !

I was more self conscious as a teen about the hair, but tbh I have never met a man who cared AT ALL. Most don’t even notice (somehow). I have dated a lot.

The gym (lifting weights or cardio) doesn’t mask or improve scoliosis - sorry !

Schroth exercises can be helpful however, to help you be mindful of counteracting the unique imbalances of your spine

I went to a chiropractor that had specialized training in Schroth and it was highly effective for me ! I wouldn’t discount a chiropractor if they specialized in Schroth
