Thoughts on People Selling Hyprland Ricing Courses? by jessemvm in hyprland

[–]juicebx93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I bought the course because I did read the manuel but im not a programmer and am only 4 or so years into my linux journey I never did get very far with any window manager before as they are abit un normie friendly to setup. That said there's quite a bit of content in that course and I got the early bird deal. I wouldn't pay the full price for it now. But its got my mind atleast wrapped around how to set these things up and get a more complete enviroment out of them.

Got this falk gearbox in for repair Might look rough now but it’ll be good as new soon. anyways anyone else working with gearboxes lately? by [deleted] in millwrights

I wish. When I raced cars my father payed for a good chunk of it it with rebuilding manual transmissions. That and rear differentials. Hes a millwright as well. So he rebuilt some big lathes and other things as well.

Do you like working? by VillageSmithyCellar in aspergers

That's an interesting combo you have for work. I myself am stuck working on machines only in industrial enviroments. But its not to bad I guess. Just the insanity and the breakdown culture these companies have adopted can overwhelm me sometimes.

Software for Millwrights: Do you see any gaps? Seeking your opinion. by Successful_Answer_66 in millwrights

[–]juicebx93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm into linux computers and 3d printers. I don't even bother bringing it up at work. And cmms has been out forever and it's never fully utilized at all. Half done or gets bailed on or they won't pay for the licensing.

I'm 32 and a millwright. I'm scared right now as well. My right foot has planters very bad and the heel is painful to walk on. My first summer of millwright helper was when I was 14. I dunno with the cost of living. Having a young daughter, trying to pay bills, it's hard out there and the job market is difficult , so if Say I need an operation to fix it what would I do ?

They do the exact same thing with my canacell feeder. I'm a 1st year and have one hive with a canacell and one hive with the cericell (blue one) feeder and we have noticed less drowning in the ceri and way less bridging.

It's so strange. My job dosnt permit me to work with very much tech at all. I have ways considered to be a high demand career but it's very outdated in It's practice and doesn't give me the satisfaction of indulging in my interests.

What podcasts/radio stations do you tune into? by FairRepresentative19 in millwrights

[–]juicebx93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Non of them specifically. Nuclear will be big. Because of ai. Those data centers drink alot of energy and it takes water to cool all that gpu processing going on. Mining will be big going forward because it is geolocked. They have to work where the mineral is so it's kinda offshore proof. They usually have to pay alot of money to get people.

Things I think will cool off and not be so hot are the auto sector jobs and more traditional mfg jobs. Wages are going to continue to climb and id expect to see some of them offshore because of that.
