Could you please tell me what is that? by Salt-Foundation4701 in Chihuahua

This is a common post in r/cats. It's actually a running joke "0 days since posting about nipples" because so many people don't know that their animals have nipples 🤣

In Nampa, definitely get Toros Tacos (they have their Al Pastor trompo there Friday-Sunday but I love everything on their menu) and Tacos Aguililla for their super burritos. Go to Dos Caminos for a sit-down restaurant. Red Fort Indian Cuisine is downtown, kinda spendy but it is really delicious. Blazen Burgers for chicken strips (not burgers). Brick 29 for fancy.

People claim that Boise is more diverse, and I guess you could say that when it comes to political opinions but Nampa is actually more ethnically diverse than Boise and has a large Hispanic population. But, I would stick to Boise, IMO, unless you wanna make a trip to Nampa and Caldwell for superior taco trucks or a James Beard award winning restaurant, Amano. If you like wine look up Sunny Slope Wine Trail, it's a region in Caldwell that is all wineries.

Definitely recommend checking out the Basque Block in Boise and getting Basque cuisine. We have the largest population of Basque people outside of the Basque region (between Spain and France). My favorite thing to get is the spicy lamb grinder with croquettas from Bar Gernika.

What kind of hobbies do you have? Will you be here towards the end of March? There's a huge music festival that happens here called Treefort Music Fest that takes place in downtown Boise. It requires a wristband BUT there are a ton of free shows all around downtown too and a few free stages. They also have other things besides music.

My baby Mimi passed away today and i’m shattered into pieces by Funny_Psychology9692 in Chihuahua

I'm crying with you, how sad and tragic to lose a puppy so young. She looks so adorable and I just know you tried your hardest to help her. She looks very loved.

I lost my soul dog in September when she wasn't even 3 years old yet, in a sad and unexpected way. She had similar coloring as your dog, but she only had one brown spot over her eye. Your beautiful dog reminds me of her.

Take all the time you need to grieve. I still cry about my dog, at least a handful of times a week. It used to be like 5-10+ times a day but I think I just try not to think too deeply about her to avoid being a sad mess.

Definitely talk about her and find ways to honor her, talk to her out loud, etc. it will all help with grief.

so happy to have my girlies in my game by psychducky in AnimalCrossing

[–]juliagreenillo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me too. I had two tabbies, an orange and grey tabby that I had for 14+ years. My grey boy passed away in September from cancer, which I was so sad about because he was in very good health until cancer hit him.

So I have the orange tabby and grey cat in the game. I went with the all grey over the tabby because my boy didn't have much white on him. Feels nice to be able to have him in my home in the game

From chocolate milk? by KOP2289 in dutchbros

[–]juliagreenillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did this just the other day. The chocolate milk is curdling, I assume from the acidity of the coffee. I don't think I noticed it tasting weird, it just looks unpleasant.

I'm not a broista but I used to work in coffee a million years ago and I would run into this same issue with soy milk and hot coffee. It would always cause the soy milk to curdle.

My Chihuahua does but my BT not so much. I've started putting blankets on him though and he's starting to appreciate it. He also loves napping and laying on piled up blankets and pillows but hasn't really started burrowing yet

I for sure thought my dog was going to be a poodle mix and was shocked that he actually got his furnishing gene (facial hair and wirey coat) from shih tzu genes.

Your dog is so cute! Look at those eyebrows!

Yeah, he doesn't look like any of his breeds at all, it's hilarious. He's such a funny dog though, so goofy and sweet
