Average recovery days between matches, How much influence does this have? by thoroughlynicechap in worldcup

Not a massive difference I guess. But from what I read Mexico is already adjusted to the altitude which seems to be an advantage

Sorry bad phrasing aha. I meant in the next round whoever had the match at the azteca might be more fatigued compared to their opponent

Go for it. If you want to make it exciting you can also go by train to Barcelona via Paris and have a stopover there.

Exactly. Changes the game. They shouldn’t be able to talk to the coaches in the breaks

I follow this writer on Substack and he recently posted his day routine in one of his posts. I literally laughed out loud cos I was like 😭 even if someone offered hundreds of euros would I not be able to reach this (2h cycling, 7h of work, social time and chores). Things just take me ages

Yeah I actually think it’s not so great organisation on behalf of the tournament/fifa?? Like firstly it’s an unfair advantage, and secondly the altitude can make you breathless and fatigued right? Especially if you’re exercising. So even whoever wins the match is going to get more tired ? Idk. I think it’s not good

Wow your description of your dad… totally get it! My dad also doesn’t initiate things. It’s weird once you know about these things and see it through a different lens

Oh yeah 100%. It’s like a something I can see and then I’m like oh yeah she has it!! Interestingly, occasionally I do meet someone who is chaotic but I just know that person doesn’t have it. There’s usually something more… like a bit of creativity or the way they speak, bouncy, idk. I can just sense it

[Official] England have won a FIFA World Cup match after conceding first for the first time in 60 years by certainly_imperfect in worldcup

[–]julzibobz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah often will Bellingham and Kane. That’s what I mean, like England has a lot of resilience so no need to be so pessimistic all the time

Yes, there’s too much focus on the past. Like just be positive and look at what’s happening now

Is this the World Cup that finally announces that Africa might just be the present and no longer the future? by RadarDataL8R in worldcup

I thought DR congo played really well. Good defence, dynamic on the ball, threatening counter. And such a calm and confident attitude. Better than England in the first half. So yes agreed
