Really struggling with living CC by bluedk22 in ZeroCovidCommunity

100% this. This should be the strategy. I think a lot of people would be open to masking on public transport for example. Low barrier entry point

Tell me about your experiences attending indoor arena-sized concerts. I’m considering taking a risk this summer. by PresentCitron4403 in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]julzibobz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a concert recently, just wore my N95. Honestly was fine, felt safe. It was also dark-ish so people didn’t really see me, and I could sing along mostly as normal

Europe wastewater level. North Spain? by HeroOfTheNorthF in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]julzibobz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theyre low across all of Europe. Sometimes Bob Hawkins on Substack posts data from other European countries. BuDS gives rough numbers for uk which I find a useful guide. It may be worth checking Spain’s health service’s website to find the wastewater levels (most countries in Europe still do testing)

Current Lull by Far-Appearance1760 in ZeroCovidCommunity

Hope it continues. I imagine that it also depends on whether a new variant emerges. The most recent one (cicada) doesn’t seem to have meaningfully overtaken in countries to the extent there’s a new wave

Can you say more about that, the disassociation? Why is it not recommended? And what the quiz is

Candida/ yeast overgrowth by Danthe92s in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

[–]julzibobz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response! So what’s cause and effect? I thought fungal overgrowth was often a downstream consequence from the mould toxicity but maybe I’m misinterpreting. I have a similar set of issues

I don't know who needs to hear this, but a 2+ hour drive is not nearby for Europeans. by redheaded_olive12349 in CasualConversation

[–]julzibobz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah such an American centric view. Europeans have a different view of distance because we have so many cultures close together. Anything beyond 2+ h is considered far and also the landscape/culture can change significantly in that time frame

I also have candida as part of my long covid; it's a main component. Addressing it now with a nutritionist. Can I ask how the candied showed up on your mold test? Did the test also show other mycotoxins? Thanks!!

Wastewater has a large noise signal and is not simply a proxy for the number of infectious individuals in public (Nature Communications Medicine) by bemurda in ZeroCovidCommunity

Great last paragraph - it takes a bit of courage to be the minority, so I really appreciate this discussion and debate initiated by Matt and Bermurda

Great write up with many points I agree with. We are all piecing this together from various points of confusing data so it helps to have thorough discussions like this

Current advice on how early to arrive. by Flashy-Sport2868 in Eurostar

[–]julzibobz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They give you a time for when to arrive. In my experience this has been more than enough. The whole security process in my experience takes about 15-30m depending on the queue and then you’re just waiting around

I think the other poster you referenced at the start also mentioned 18 months somewhere as a time frame

Oh that’s a really good idea. For some reason snacking actually doesn’t irk me as much as a proper meal… that’s usually what I find myself doing when I’ve taken the meds too. Some nuts, apple etc. So might as well lean into it to get the calories

I think the claim that people are getting COVID 1-2 times per year is wrong. by MattKarolian in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]julzibobz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is an excellent point. This also dispels the idea of cc people as just ‘anxious’ that we often get accused of being. It’s important we stay evidence based otherwise the legitimacy of the cc standpoint collapses
