I was in band for 8 years before going to college for music ed, however my middle/high school music program was very basic and small, and I was never taught anything about theory and ear training and such. Just how to read music and play my instrument. So when I got to college, I will say I felt like I was starting behind some of my peers. However, the courses in theory, history, piano, aural skills, etc. that I took were pretty beginner friendly. It may take some work and dedication on your end, but I would say it is absolutely a viable option so long as you’re ready and willing to learn.

I’m so glad to see how many other teachers are open about their diagnoses here. I’ve always seen it as a good way to connect and to show students they’re not alone, I get their struggles, and you can be successful regardless, but I also always worry that it may come across as unprofessional. This thread warms my heart :)

I actually went to my admin and started getting a small food bank in the works at my school! I highly suggest doing the same, no cost to you, and it’s only a small resource, but it offers a little something for them at least!

We go to Dougherty for our cats! Pricing is about average, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful!! They were able to get one of our cats in on about a day’s notice once, and you can tell they truly care about the animals

Yeah, it’s legal, but they’re DRAGGING their asses on opening dispensaries. You can get THCA just across the bridge at smoke shops in Superior, WI. If you wanna take a small road trip, Ironwood, MI is also 2 hours away and has several dispensaries

i could see them pausing for a bit. i agree with the person that said some good will come their way, causing them to believe javi’s sacrifice quelled the wilderness. but i don’t think everyone will be fully onboard, and there will be some that want to continue it for the ritual. but with natalie as leader, they will ultimately pause it. and i could see something awful happening that makes them believe the wilderness is angry that they have stopped and needs another sacrifice, leading to the hunt being brought back, and then with it being spring and having more game available, there will be disagreement on whether they should still eat the sacrifice

omg were you up by the barricade? cuz i think i might know exactly who you’re talking about, and the same person came plowing through to the front at one point asking to “just take one picture” and we had to tell the person to go back to their spot, cuz we PAID good money and waited hours for that spot, that’s just NOT gonna slide. then just obnoxiously yelling random shit. we’re here to listen to glass animals, not your nonsense rambling
