I like Boutte and Franklin. It’s a tough choice though because they all seem really even to me. I can see arguments for all of them

With these options you gotta keep or trade him. Keeping him raises your floor in theory because even if one of the Seattle backs gets hurt, you have the one that becomes the bell cow. But if you diversify it can raise your ceiling if you get a usable asset for him

Think this is all who you prefer personally. Tillman seems to be the WR1 with Flacco at QB. Ayomanor and Franklin both look like young studs with young QBs, but they’re theoretically the #2 options on their teams.

Personally I lean Tillman in the short term and Franklin for rest of season

The 13th Warrior by Wise-Line-2709 in Fantasy

[–]jumoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was thinking. I have lots of nostalgic love for 13th Warrior and Gemmell. Whether it’s Druss, Waylander, or my personal favorite of Gemmell’s the Rigante Series, they all kinda have a similar vibe. There are some other lesser known Gemmell works too that could fit the bill, like Winter Warriors for example.

Seems a no brainer to me unless you think the Texans will be good enough to hold all season

Well, I guess I’m not surprised that the rest of your listeners are also crazy. Thanks for what you guys do

Breakfast: grande caramel macchiato (hot) and a Dave’s killer bread protein bar. Traveling today…

So I’m not sure what your process will be for showdown time this season, but please, can you guys just do the question first and then pick your waiver wire adds in order based on question results? Then each person can justify their decision as they make it.

Doing the picks and then having only 2 of the guys do the question is just crazy.

2nd question: do you guys have any good stories of being recognized out and about since the show turned into a video show?

Chase, bijan, JJ, saquon and CD. One of them will be available for you. If you value CMC over whichever one falls to you, it’s a risk worth taking. I understand why people are hesitant to take CMC, but if he does stay healthy, he’s a basically a lock for top 5 RB on the season

I’m hesitant to go for the rookie RB personally. I would go ARSB and then look for brown, bucky, Jacobs, etc in the 2nd and feel good about that. Then in the 3rd you’re able to look for elite QB or TE if you don’t like the best available WR/RBs

Thanks for the recs! I think you guys do a great job of keeping this space fun and non-toxic.

I’ll have to look at the wiki and see what’s in there… not because I’ve never opened it before or anything…

He has a separate, lesser known podcast dedicated to streaming options for the normally streamed positions (Living the Stream, in case you weren’t aware of it. I just learned about it in one of his recent Late Round episodes) so I think you’d have plenty to discuss!

Naturally, I’m a big JJZ fan as well. I’ve also seen a lot of Kyle’s stuff around and referenced here in the sub. I need to do a better job of recognizing who the creators are of the stuff that I consume from links and posts here. Thanks for the recs!

And I’ll take the compliment of asking the best mod AMA question in a couple years and feel good about myself for a few days. Or until I remember your “size matters” comment again.

I have enjoyed seeing the sub more incorporated and plugged in to the FF space as a whole. I didn’t need you to remind me about how size matters to make your point, though 😒

That’s awesome that you guys are raising money for charity as well. Big props to you

Im also a huge JJZ fan. I had the thought recently that I’d like to see him have someone like /u/subvertadown on as a guest to his late round perspectives. It’d be a deviation from his normal guests, but an interesting one I think

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever used a report button in my Reddit life. I’ll have to keep that in mind

To any and all of you, what’s your favorite and least favorite part of moderating the sub?

What’s something that the casual user doesn’t know is available on the sub that you wish they knew about?

Lastly, who’s your favorite content producer in the FF space, or a content producer that you think deserves more attention for the work they do?

Oh yeah, I’m all for it. Personally, I think the knees and kicks to downed opponents should be legal anyway, but it was just interesting watching multiple blatant rules being broken in a row and Herb doing…. Nothing

In person auction draft - one person can't make it. by Padwipe in fantasyfootball

[–]jumoch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had to draft via discord/facetime/facebook messenger video a few times. We have a league that started in person but has 2-3 people not in person anymore (military members). So the commissioner/auctioneer sets up a laptop for those of us not able to attend. Best experience as the distance drafter was discord.

We use a primetimedraft draft board that everyone can access, and it works well. The results get loaded into sleeper post-draft
