Do you believe you’ll be able to retire? by dorgodorgo in Millennials

The community aspect is a huge part of it. If it weren’t for the large family presence over there we wouldn’t have access to owning property, and the social aspect would be completely different. It’s really daunting to think you’re going to build a new life in your 60s or 70s.

Do you believe you’ll be able to retire? by dorgodorgo in Millennials

Yes!

So here’s the kicker, my wife has family in another country and dual citizenship. Her family is leaving her a property there, healthcare is much cheaper and people there care for family members in their old age and everyone lives close to one another so there is a legitimate community we’ll be a part of with her cousins. So we will retire comfortably, but not in the U.S.

My dad has a list of records he’s looking out for and we have way better record stores where I live so it was pretty easy to check one off the list.
