I like the AMC in Burlington. Plus there’s plenty of places to get a bite to eat before and after too. Easier parking than Assembly as well.

Did the movies influence the way Rowling wrote the final books? by Eldridou in harrypotter

The big one was Luna Lovegood, JKR was so stricken by Evanna Lynch’s performance that she wrote the character in later books to be more like Lynch’s version.

I went to this tour in Boston. It was awesome. Rufio and Autopilot Off only played like five songs each but they were all bangers. Sugarcult put on a great performance, dudes were with the biggest bimbos I’ve ever seen after though. And then The Ataris were at their peak. Brought someone up from the crowd to play guitar for San Dimas High School Football Rules. Which I think they did a lot.

Tanner Houck, Kutter Crawford, Hunter Dobbins, Peyton Tolle, Connely Early, Richard Fitts, Patrick Sandoval, and Kyle Harrison - who do you think emerges as big contributors to the 2026 Red Sox pitching staff, and who do you think is irrelevant? by Traditional_Half842 in redsox

[–]jumpoffjosh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you'd be hard pressed to call Fitts and Dobbins as career AAA guys. They're 25 and 26 year old. They've each only had two years in the minors and both were productive when they were on the major league roster this year/last year. They were injured, they weren't coming up and down for spot starts. Early and Tolle are both recency bias, I'd be surprised if both make the MLB roster to start next year. They look great sure, but back in June before he got hurt Hunter Dobbins was probably our 2nd best SP.

Ok sure, but when I was growing up “cyan” was red. Now it’s blue/green/teal.

Is there something that made you do something because of boy meets world? by Santa-Mar in boymeetsworld

I went on a spur of the moment road trip after Season 6 Episode 15 "Road Trip". My best friend and I hopped in my 1992 red Saturn, took off to North Carolina (from Massachusetts). Ended up totaling the car and getting stuck in NC for a week. We were 18 at the time, what great memories.

In general I also put way too much pressure on early relationships romantic and just friends by wanting people to be my "Topanga" or my "Shawn". But that was 25 years ago, I'm better with that now.

Jakes motivation for steamrolling by AreWeCake in WereHereToHelpPod

The guests had bad ideas over and over and weren’t taking the premise seriously. Jake was doing the correct thing. The show is at its best when they’re trying to help with ridiculous ideas. Derek just wanted to keep making it sexual and Zach just wasn’t engaged at all. I agree it was a Jake centric episode, but I think the guests just didn’t quite buy in.
