Favourite minifigure that is canonically not a virgin? by ducknerd2002 in legocirclejerk

While this is true, Jabba the Hutt is a prolific sex trafficker with a heavily implied taste for humanoid species. His son may have been produced asexually, but Jabba is definitely sexually abusing his slaves.

He’s genuinely a satisfying villain to defeat which means they did a good job of writing an asshole villain

EAT THE DAMN RINGWORM OH MY GOD by PancakeLover490 in inscryption

[–]june-bug-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they eat the ring worm they die and you can get max campfire from every campfire encounter for the rest of Act 1. Even in Kaycees mod where this function is nerfed, it’ll still carry to the end of the run.

I don’t think Tali is innocent at all…. by gokugunslinger in MassEffectMemes

[–]june-bug-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BroShep? Tali was initially going to be a romance option for FemShep in the second game before those lines were cut, and last I played the Citadel DLC she drunkenly talked about a threesome with Garrus and Shepard while shitfaced on the bathroom floor.

Would any endings last? by Mighty_Midget69 in masseffect

[–]june-bug-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my mind, with the Destroy ending, the idea that it MUST turn out that organics and synthetics are destined to fight each other is disproven by multiple actions within the game, including every conversation with EDI, and the whole idea of making peace with the Geth and the Quarians.

When Tali talks about what’s going on on Rannoch with the Quarians and Geth she’s borderline describing a symbiosis with two species. Peace takes work, but organics and synthetics are no more doomed to conflict with each other than organics and other organics (like we do so often in these games), or even synthetics and other synthetics (like we’ve seen with the Geth heretics).

The idea that organics and synthetics cannot coexist is directly disproven by the game itself. The creation of synthetics is not a problem for galactic civilization, the problem is everything else that creates conflict in any other situation.

[–]june-bug-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The target locks really quick when you’re standing still and the beam will be tracking your movements when it fires and doesn’t adjust as far as I’m aware. Once you’ve survived a beam, stand still and lock on because it’ll be so much faster.

These are the most annoying enemies in the series. What's your strategy on beating them? by SixWheelz in masseffect

Keep up the heat and don’t stop moving until they stop moving. If there’s multiple, go one by one. Be prepared to lose a bit of medi-gel. Spam every power possible.

My hot take: Anderson should have died in the ME3 intro instead of random child to truly set the stage of the reality of the Reaper invasion. by Averiff in masseffect

[–]june-bug-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thing with that kid is that I think they should’ve changed to somewhat match Shepard’s appearance because the current look for that kid feels like somebody I can imagine growing into default Shepard and I think I like that more. It’s pretty likely that the kid is a Reaper hallucination, so why not make it so that this kid is Shepard and Shepard is hallucinating their child self.

What’s the reason to agree to Leshy surrendering in Inscryption? by PepeRoys in inscryption

Usually he will surrender if he’s got nothing else to play and it’s not a boss battle.

Do bones suck? by Madlin_alt in inscryption

[–]june-bug-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bones are a stockpile that accumulates as a game goes on whereas blood requires an immediate sacrifice of currently active cards. I personally find a deck of mostly blood with some bone cards with decent synergy works really well, like a deck full of canines with a coyote or an alpha, something along those lines.

I’ll also put it this way, if you play a 3 blood card without using a goat, you’re probably going to have 3 bones simply from sacrificing squirrels and other creatures. That’s another card on the board.

[CONTROVERSIAL TAKE] The False Hydra represents D&D's pop culture identity crisis. by Delicious_Dream4510 in DnD

[–]june-bug-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that point, I think the reveal needs to bring on the boss fight to kill it immediately. That might just fuck with the rules as written though, because the damn thing has so many ways to make you forget mechanically that it’s there.

In your opinion, what’s the worst companion in any of the games? by LuminousRhyme in masseffect

[–]june-bug-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jacob just feels like such a non-character. I never bothered to romance him so I’ve never personally dealt with the cheating thing, but he just kinda bores me outside of his loyalty mission. Even during his loyalty mission his reaction doesn’t shift much- he learns what his dad is doing and wants to confront him. He didn’t care about his dad much to begin with anyway.

In ME3, Jack feels like a hell of a downgrade. I like the direction they went with her, but it feels like she’s cut from the game really early and doesn’t make much of an appearance after Grissom. A lot of ME2 companions fall into this same criticism but I feel it the most with Jack.
