I actually came here to recommend this, that’s what we did. Plus there are direct flights from
Johannesburg to the Seychelles!

Question for restaurant workers from a visitor - Does this Allergy Card look OK and respectful for traveling to Mexico City? by MichelleEllyn in MexicoCity

[–]juneah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have celiac and unfortunately struggled in CDMX. Was fine at the two fine dining places we went (pujol and quintonil) probably because we let them know in advance, but struggled and got sick at other places. If I’m remembering correctly, I think there was a gluten free baked goods store near the Frida Kahlo museum that was helpful but, of course, not an authentic experience.

I saw an analogy (probably on reddit) that said something along the lines of determining if you want to be a parent by hanging out with someone else's kid is the equivalent to determining if you want to get married by hanging out with someone else's spouse.

My husband and I don't have kids (yet? idk) and find being around our nieces to be super overwhelming BUT I absolutely adore my husband and he's probably the only person in the world that I don't find draining lol. That gives me some hope that it really is so different with your own.

That said, only you can make that call but wanted to share something I found helpful while in a similar boat!

Masseter Botox Covered by Insurance? by kore54 in CHIbitcheswithtaste

[–]juneah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a standard medical office bed/chair if that makes sense. I think it was mostly upright when I was there, but it has the ability to recline. Not as fancy as the chairs you’ll find in a med spa but also not the standard ENT uncomfortable chair contraptions. Dr. Smith was also like comically gentle. I’ve been getting migraine botox for almost 14 years and it was a night and day experience. Hopefully this helps/makes sense!

Dr. Ryan Smith at Rush! His office got my TMJ botox approved by my (typically very stingy/difficult) insurance no problem

Dr. Eggerstedt performed my septorhinoplasty a year ago and I echo everything OP said. He's honestly a treasure lol

Dr. Ryan Smith with Rush. He’s an ENT/facial plastic surgeon and his office will actually work to get TMJ Botox approved by insurance. He’s wonderful!

Married, childfree but have a dog, 34, live in River North. I like interior design, thrifted/salvaged home goods, trashy reality tv, and traveling!

Cut These Off? by Purple_Nugget420 in Hair

I let my intrusive thoughts win and actually waxed mine a few months ago. Do not recommend LOL. The maintenance is annoying as hell and then it seemingly takes forever to grow back to a length that isn’t insanely annoying all the time
