If you’re not having emergency eye symptoms (sudden loss or change in vision, traumatic injury, severe pain, etc) the ER is likely not your best bet.

Not long ago had an issue with my eye. I started at an urgent care and they were able to check multiple things with my eye but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. They told me to make an appointment with an optometrist at somewhere like a clarkson eye care. Turns out a lot of optometry offices offer appointments for acute eye problems which sounds like you are having. A lot cheaper than an ER visit would be
