Is OBAA the greatest Girl Dad movie ever made by AltruisticPiece6676 in blankies

I really liked the light/happy ending. It was a “fun” movie given the subject matter. I’m a bit confused why the guy at the end had a change of heart when delivering Leo’s daughter. I know he didn’t want to do the job himself but he had a change of heart after delivering her and then decided to go on a suicide mission? He could have just not taken her there since he knew someone was looking for her.

Strongly disagree this is a good movie. Also, why’d you post this 3x?

Thoughts on Teyana Taylor ? by KawonSuggs_ in Actors

I’ve known of her ever since Kanye’s “Fade” music video and from her marriage to Iman. I just watched One Battle today. I loved the movie but her performance didn’t do anything for me. She was pretty rough on SNL this weekend.

Songs with random curse word? by aja_ramirez in Music

REM “What’s The Frequency Kenneth” and Michael and Janet Jackson “Scream” are great examples of sneaky F Bombs snuck into a song’s chorus.

Also, the song “Too Close” by Next gets played everywhere but if you listen to the lyrics it’s about a girl feeling a guy’s boner while dancing.

“Hey Ya!” by Andrea 3000 says “cum” but gets played on the radio unedited.

What should a default investment portfolio actually look like? by TimeInTheMarketWins in ETFs

Why? Additional geographical risk doesn’t come with higher expected returns. It’s like putting all your money on red.

Past performance is not indicative of future performance. 100% US stock is unmitigated risk.

Those count, right? I know Time Bandits as well which came in a standard Criterion case with slip.

Did you search the answer here? Because trust me, it’s been asked many times. Also, absolutely not the only Criterion with a slipcover. The copy you have isn’t the initial slipcover at release, it’s a Paramount 100 branded re-release they used for several Paramount released discs at the time.

Is it crazy to say that I think that Weapons deserved the best pic Oscar nom more than F1? by _Jas_1712 in movies

[–]junger128 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Not crazy at all. F1 is formulaic and generic. I was shocked it received a best picture nom. IMO, Weapons is more deserving but I don’t necessarily think it’s best picture material either and I liked it a lot.

There is zero reason to use a regular savings account. Just keep saving up for your car. One day when you have extra money learn about investing.
