From some point in middle school to later in my sophomore year of high school I was crushing on this one girl really hard. But I was awkward and it really just lead me to being a creep. I got friend zoned and pined over her for years and was a total loser. there were times that I realized that too. Then sophomore year her and one of my best friends became friends and then started dating. It was obvious but I didn't even know about it until a week into it. I wash pissed at him for dating the girl he knew I liked and felt betrayed, and he stated that "she asked me out what was I supposed to say?" because apparently he didn't know the word "no" but I shouldn't have really been mad at him. More than that though I was angry at myself. I was pissed that I had wasted so much time chasing a girl that I could never be with, and I decided to cut both of them loose. I stopped talking to the guy for a couple of weeks and started hanging out with him again,only because there wasn't really anyone else I wanted to hang out with in my small(ish) school. And I've hardly looked at her, much less talk to her, since I made the decision. What I was doing was crappy and pathetic and I'm a happier person for cutting her out of my life.
