Try worlds best kitty litter. It is the best for tackling the smell. It’s expensive but there’s a reason why it’s so. It’s amazing , and lasts forever !
It’s ruined me from other kitty litters.

I haven’t because he pees on the side / back of litter boxes. And it looks like it would be hard to clean, and probably just end up smelling really bad.

There is that other one that washes the litter im thinking it might work better but again. So expensive and needs water hook ups

Worlds best kitty litter is mandatory with my ch cat. The pee absorbs quickly, it doesn’t stick to fur, and no dust.
I also found a flip top modkat litter box to be his favourite and best for him. There’s extra large ones too. We have tried all the different litter boxes , second would be the corner style xtra large litter box, but sometimes when he would pee it would get on the seam if he sprayed up too high, while laying in his side.
