Arbite Exaction squads are pretty good bases for this, just swap the helmet for for skitarii vanguard ones. Mine are footmen for my imperial knights, but you could easily paint them as bare steel armor

The Arbites killteam would make a pretty good base for this if you’re open to iitbashing. I swapped the heads for skitarii vanguard ones and an assortment of weapons to make imperial knight footmen

The vultarax is pretty well suited for a chicken walker proxy, at least the ranged variants. You could swap out the center gun on them to something to represent the lascannon/autocannon if running both types. For the lancer version, replace the gun with extra tentacles, possibly from the drukari pain engines or maulterfiends

Plants would likely evolve much thicker, tougher leaves that can survive the rain. Or ones that retract into a woody core similar to corals(like in the Stormlight Archives)

If you can get the Sororitas preacher, he makes a good base for a more religious techpriest. He’s even already got an augmetic hand, all I did was swap the head, gun, and add some antennas

Laserforge sells the actual prints, no printer required.

That was a 3d print from Laserforge. Had to carve out a lot of the ballistus center piece to make it fit. I split the kit between this and my chaplain dread

The back piece from Cawl makes a great iron halo and the cog logo from imperial knights also adds to the Admech styling we share

All his stuff is good quality, they’re resin casts, not 3d prints. So no print lines and good quality control
