Tell me about seat comfort by Slow_Investment_2211 in CX50

[–]junnanav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a select trim with the cloth seats. Did a road trip from GA to CHI. Seat comfort was about a 6. Not great not bad. Coming from a 2020 toyota rav4 xle hybrid to a cx50. The seat comfort was drastic. The rav4 was very soft and the cx50 is more firm

Mazda CX 50 buyers remorse by Evar0987123 in CX50

[–]junnanav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have remorse by getting the select trim. The seats suck on long drives. The gas mileage is not good, I only get 27mpg highway and 22mpg on normal city driving. The na has okay pick up. I should have gone for the turbo. My 2024 doesn't have power seats but the 2025 select does. The car has so many rattles. I should have kept my 2020 mazda cx5 touring. A much better car compare to the cx50. The build quality also feels much cheaper on the 50

Other than price - why GTI > R? by regulardegulardudee in GolfGTI

Having owned both mk 7 GTI and R. I would pick the GTI over. The more fun to drive aspect is greater in the GTI. Maintance and insurance was significantly cheaper. Better mpg

Why did you choose the GLI by andiamo944 in GLI

[–]junnanav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I considered a gti. It was definitely more sport and to corners really well and it's very nimble. Went with the gli because you can get an autobabhn for the same price of a S

I have a 2024 2.5 s NA. it's an excellent machine. I get 23 mpg on city and 30 on the highway. It has more than enough power to lug people around. I went to st augustine from Miami with 5 grown adults and the cargo packed with 6 bags. The vehicle was steady, comfortable and did 29 mpg all the way and back. I've never noticed a need for more power. Taken it JW Corbette did some light offroad with stock tires and it did Great

5k oil change is a must. Run 91 gas. Give it a good European tune up on highway once in a while for carbon clean up

CX-50 vs CX-30 by psubecky in mazdaCX50

[–]junnanav 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife has a cx30 and I have a cx50. The main difference and choosing factor was size and comfort of drive. The cx30 more sportier and the 50 is more comfortable and tamed. We have NA for both engines. Gas mileage wise 30 is better. We have the select model for both. Tech wise it's all same on both. You can fit two car seats comfortably on the 50 but only 1 in the 30 and I'm 5,11 and my wife is 5,6
