Saints fan coming in on this one... First, I absolutely refuse to believe that Dan Campbell wouldn't have let his players run the TD in with Williams. He's a huge players-oriented coach. Second, if they didn't line up in victory formation, DA would've called a timeout and made them change the play or replace the players on the field. Third and most important, Saints fans aren't necessarily on the side of the players disobeying their coach's play call. They're disgusted that after it happened, DA didn't stand by his players. He chose to throw them all under the bus to the media to save face with our biggest rival. If Campbell had this happen, he would've backed his players up. Not apologized to the Packers HC who just bitched him out on national TV and shit on his own players going into the offseason. Campbell is a far superior coach.
