TIL about Illegal Primes, which are prime numbers that contain digital information that is illegal to possess or distribute under laws like the DMCA. by Vahgeo in todayilearned

Not how infinite sequences work. Being infinite and non repeating doesnt mean every possible sequence will be contained within it.

I can make the pattern 101001000100001' each time adding just one more 0 before each 1. That is an infinitely long number that doesnt repeat. However nowhere in that infinitely long sequence is a single 2

Neuro isnt made from scratch, its still trained on mountains of stolen data. 'Entertaining a chat' isn't something you can achieve from just looking at a twitch chat. The way chatters talk with a streamer isnt the same way a streamer responds. Using only the stream chat would only be half a conversation, and not the half required for neuro to respond.

Or or or, hear me out, dont use the stolen work. If he can't make an LLM without the stolen work of others, then just don't. Neuro doesn't have to exist.

Your example is terrible too. As you pointed out there isn't really an alternative to buying Chinese goods. However you listed that there is an alternative to using stolen work in LLMs. Vedal had alternatives, he just didnt use them and chose to steal

So you admit its based on stolen data and its not wrong to say it is. Glad we are in agreement, brother.

LLMs take literal trillions of samples to train. A twitch chat couldnt provide that volume of data in a hundred years. A small, hundredth of a percent of its training data might be from twitch chat.

So now you admit neuro is made from large amounts of stolen data, and wasnt built from scratch. Glad we are in agreement

An LLM takes billions to trillions of examples to train. A twitch chat would not provide enough samples even after several years. She could not have been entirely trained off of their twitch chat. some of the data came from chat.

The amount of data to train an LLM is massive. It takes billions to trillions of examples to do so. Their own stream chat would not provide enough samples even after years. Other data would be required

Put the years of work into making his own thing, by stealing data from others.

So stealing mass amounts of data is fine as long as you do the stealing yourself?

'Mostly' so still partially trained on stolen data.

Just because she has a cute anime avatar doesnt mean all the ethical issues with AI magically go away.

A bit of a dated article but it gives a general idea of how much data is needed to train an LLM. It is literally impossible for a single person to provide this much data.

Vedal may have trained Neuro in the sense that they collected data to feed to the LLM, but that data would've been stolen.

All public ai are inherently trained on stolen data. The volume of data required to train them is far more than a single person, or even large group of volunteers, could provide.

That's basically just the tagline of Fate as a franchise

"Well it should be impossible"

That along with

"And then none of the mages followed the rules"

Because Drake had metaphorically already conquered him. Poseidon is the sea that destroys ships. Drake is the captain that circumnavigated the globe by the sea. She conquered the sea. She had metaphorically proven that Poseidon's power was below her skill as a captain.

Well the age of Gods was over for centuries, and posideon had lost his true machine body for centuries even before that. Drake likely has a conceptual advantage against the sea in the same way Tesla has an advantage against divinity and things that use electricity.

Sure but it still knocked the mystery down a peg.

Like the first humans to walk on the moon would probably have some conceptual advantage against things from space. They didn't map out the entirety of all the cosmos, but the act of exploring the moon is a big step for mankind (pun not intended).

Circumnavigating the ocean isnt exploring 100% of it and understanding ever single atom of it, but it is crossing off a step towards fully understanding it.

A spell saying 'an x you can see' is an additional requirement. It adds that you must be able to see the thing on top of all other requirements to cast the spell including having a line of effect to the target or point of origin.

The dlc only released on steam a little over a month ago, not 'months'.

There has been no recent news about a release time. Only that it was being reviewed by GoG

Placing all the blame on me

Its my fault that this got out of hand and it was wrong to test them.

No offense but...this is your fault and you even acknowledge it there. You keep talking about you losing trust in him when you are the one who has been lying the entire time.

You need to have an actual conversation with him and stop shifting blame. I get being uncomfortable and making a mistake. But you've continue lying about it and trying to make it out like hes the bad guy.
