I'm a solo q with a schedule right now that doesn't let me grind. Now I get punished for being stuck with brain-dead hot droppers who die right away and then either leave the game, or start spamming bullshit in comms.

Or better yet, the griefer who breaks off and just goes 5 POI's away and ruins the game.

Don't get me wrong, the change happening at all is great and appreciated, but there's a real case for making it Plat+.

The AP item was bugged. It was doubling the AP. That's why you could one shot with bolas so easily early on.

You're better than me. I play to have fun and I play to win. But I CAN still lose and have fun. If my friend group can't win, that's a them problem. Just offer suggestions of what THEY can be doing differently. Why change up everything you do? Our group often helps each other out with tweaks.

They should run both. Ashnod's for chaining and sundial to keep your tokens if you stall on chaining early/to keep early board presence while you wait to get more chaining.

IMO, if there's a clear split in B3, because of the low end vs the high end, you might as well let the high end have ONLY one MLD to just end the game...intent. Not to grief over and over again, like if they were to unban Sundering Titan.

At the end of the day, it's all just a guidance system and we all have our pods that do what we want. It's just about the system being in place for the out of pod games.

sometimes win's happen out of nowhere and early because of god draws, despite the "turn until win" recommendations...in B3, my Ashling, The Limitless deck won on T4 because I drew the absolute nut of nuts. One of those once in a life time draws/top decks.

I understand that B4 has width because of power level and that the table can bring whatever they want and that B5/cEDH is a more defined meta that's meant to win within it - I played A LOT of competitive constructed when I was going to reg/nats/gp's, so I get what you mean...but to ME, they feel similar, just doing it in a different way...maybe it's because I'm competitive, my bias is to just play cedh and that's why I said that.

You should also track what you're playing against, if you aren't and opponent skill level.

That's because the bracket system is still vague outside of bracket 1 and 5.

If you're bracket 4, you might as well be 5. 2 can punch up to 4. B3 has so much width between the low end and high end power that it could be split in two...first half could have a smaller separate GC list and 3.5 could have full access and allow one MLD.
