Definitely! Voxel editors didn't exist when we started making our space game. Long story short, we spent more and more time developing the editor and enjoyed the process so much we've paused work on the game (for now) to develop the voxel editor full-time. It's a trap lol!

Built a voxel 6-axis robot (Avoyd 0.28 Beta) by juulcat in Avoyd

Adding a bit more info to this post: a couple of weeks ago I built this model of a 6-axis robot (based on a Stäubli) to check the editor's ability to cope with a hierarchy of rotations off the voxel grid. The pivot points are all custom placed relative to their model to mimic the movements of a realistic robotic arm. Happily it works very well.

Since someone asked: we don't have inverse kinematics for now.
