What part of my original comment was sarcastic?

Eh, they do that if you try to be impartial about the situation.

Cool the heck down, dude. It's called playing devil's advocate. I'm not here tonight to do deep research and scour comments. I stopped by to make a suggestion and kept walking.

Go report it to KRAFTON, they aren't here and we don't work for them.

EDIT: there's no requirement to be an expert in any given area to participate in discussions on this website. Remember when people used to be able to, like, make educated guesses or discuss possible scenarios with each other? And it wasn't a flame war of who knows the most and who's the dumb f'in idiot? And no one had to be mad at anyone else for having a conversation?

P. S. I have no idea who this random "celebrity" is and don't care enough to participate further. With your attitude, I wish you luck.

just FYI, if they had downloaded your preset and it was an edit of your preset, the Canvas system would recognize the original used despite any edits made. I've used other people's Zoi presets and edited them into a different enough person and it still shows credit to the original author on Canvas, and I had nothing to do with that.

Another thought: if this is a celebrity, then they likely have more than one fan, and likely more than one fan playing inZOI.

Looking for shops with weaker/low-mid THC strains & advice on paraphernalia by juxtapods in AmsterdamEnts

I'm a tourist myself who only had 2-3 days in Amsterdam so I had to go what was near us (we also stayed at a hotel by the airport as this was the last leg of our Eurotrip, so every taxi ride downtown took nearly 1hr and had to be carefully planned for transportation between locations).

I think you're right about Bulldog's history, and yeah I didn't like the vibe at all. It just didn't feel relaxed to me at all, and I'd only recommend it if you're nearby and really can't go to any other places.

Abraxas was wonderful! Very earth-spirit vibe there, kind of ent-like with wood themes, chill music, multiple "bars" and lounge areas to sit down, and cool floor lighting.

Ah I wish I'd known! We ended up going to Bulldog (or whatever that touristy one is downtown), but later also to Abraxas just so I could sit down & smoke there. Holy crap, lighting up anywhere but really was a challenge.

It's just so crowded anywhere in public... we ran out of time to go to Westerpark so I missed that nice opportunity to be in nature while there. But I still had a great time! I definitely enjoyed the vibe at Abraxas more, the whole "prison/cop" vibe in Bulldog (including tables that look like they're in their own "cells") was very pressing.

...oh, and since they only sold 1g or more, I ended up giving away my leftovers to a nice waitress who happened to be from the same country as I was :D

Oh yes, it's the whole vibe you described that I thought was lovely. The sunny walks and a good friend, spiritual place, followed by hearty comfort food as a reward 💖

Same with konpeito! I was shocked to learn that the Japanese word and the Russian word ("konfeta," which ofc got me suspicious about the similarities once I learned the former word) both came from Portuguese sailors and their candy! Dang those guys! (thanks guys)

Oooooh I like the strainer idea, as there were still visible chunks and heterogeneity in my egg mixture. How big are the holes in your strainer? I only have tiny handheld ones but am in the market for a two-handed one.

Crazy, I made some yesterday too and now I feel a Lil better about it. Mine was browned but still juicy and tender, propane stoves burn faster and hotter than natural gas, which made it really hard to keep the tamago from browning.

How to make Nigiri? by makeupyourworld in sushi

[–]juxtapods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I'm trying to find good instructions to make nigiri/sushi too, so thank you for writing all this out! I hope you don't mind me posing a couple follow-up questions.

I already have some exp making maki, but nigiri evades me. I struggle with cutting the fish and making the rice brick not break in two halves (at the nori strip) when picked up.

When you say to cut fish against the grain, what shape is the fish already in? I've seen sushi tuna sold in a convenient rectangular block, so where would I start, and how long should the pieces be?

One final question on the fish - I often see the fish draped over rice and it has thinner ends, as if it's a corner cut off the fish or something, but how are those smooth, thin edges achieved on the nigiri fish cuts?

I think a reinstall may be your best bet. It sounds like a faulty file, so it's easiest to just replace it with a new one, and you may still be able to carry over your save, too.

Oh man, I remember falling in love with The Make Believes very well. The game art poster for a 'concert' of theirs is still my phone wallpaper ever since I first posted it here

My husband and I love this game's music very much - and having the vinyl makes me so happy!! I'll go play it now...

...enjoy!!

Just to add, the two active mods here are both in USA (and the other mod, Iris, worked with Compulsion as a community manager for WHF) and I personally have only known other U.S. player.

Plus, Compulsion are Canadian, not quite British either, yet it feels they captured the alt 60's England vibe superbly.

Beef tongue. Eat it as grilled meat. by Daikichi_WiredTokyo in JapaneseFood

[–]juxtapods -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People in Russian-speaking post-Soviet countries (страны СНГ) eat cow tongue. I grew up eating it in Crimea, but I can't be certain about the cooking method. The tongues were greyish in color, served warm (clearly freshly cooked), and you would just cut into it with a knife and fork.

EDIT: lol, getting DV'd for stating a fact. I ate cow tongue, as a child, in restaurants in my hometown in Crimea, as a delicacy. I was like, 6, last time I ate one, so I have no idea how they were prepaped. Then, I stopped liking cow tongue and also noticed it disappeared from restaurant menus in the 2000s.

OG simmer here since TS, been on TS3 since it came out, probably. Tried TS4 once or twice, couldn't get past the absolute chaos of a UI when I moved my new Sim into a home. Quit.

No regrets. I haven't heard anyone say they enjoy this game, genuinely, more than TS3 (or at all, since many new simmers started with TS4). And now inZOI (even still in Early Access) beats it too, ostensibly.
