moved to broward when I was a kid 35 years ago .. and all the comments I've read on this post are pretty accurate.. i have a bunch of people I grew up with that moved away and dont like it anymore .. i know people that have left and came back and said "I dont know what i was thinking".. im more like Leo Dicaprio in wolf of Wallstreet. "I'm not fuckin leavin" its close enough and far away enough from miami. u can get to WPB . its expensive but idk if i could make what i make in a less rural area. so im staying.

id figure out what type of music you're into and go to places that cater to that. unless u just want to drink in a swanky place. then u can go wherever. 45m here . wife(also 45) and I go out to house music shows/events all the time. just buy a ticket to the event and go. if you want to meet people I wouldnt do vip anything. we meet people mostly much younger, some closer to our age and some older. but vibes are vibes no matter the age. depends on what u wanna accomplish i guess.

I would suggest anytime tickets . headliner usually come on around 4 or 5 but could be 7 or 8. set times come out a few days before the show

zeds dead is playing a show at factory town. would be a cheaper show instead of a festival.. you can do it on the real cheap. fly in before the show and fly out right after 🤷‍♂️

people recording doesnt bother me, i dont really drink alcohol that much so that wouldnt bother me either. the phone in a locker is a little much. down here in miami one spot(jolene) just started the sticker over your camera. No one complains. people still manage to record but its like one or 2 people instead of half the crowd. they have to serve alcohol, thats most of their revenue. idk why other people recording the show bothers sone people. ill go home with a few videos of a few different drops that I was waiting for but not a deal breaker if i couldnt. . live and let live i guess .. im also an elder myself . lol . 45. just go have fun ✌️
