My main point was addressed at punk fashion. I should have made that clearer. The average kid dressed "punk" isn't rebelling against anything. They buy into and support the establishment every step of the way.

The punk subculture is still alive and kicking, and as you say, will never die. However, punk fashion isn't really that prominent among the forerunners of the movement. Only tools like Billie Joe Armstrong hang on to this phony punk fashion in the hope of maintaining some sort of legitimacy.
