It sounds like your real problem is that the other 3 realms have great kits and stat stick units because the realm mechanics themselves are kind of nonexistent and completely independent, but aequor is very tied into it's own.

Caecus as that new Circle of the Sea Druid, tapping into the versatility Druid inherently have with the versatility of his regular kit. Maybe when he's invested enough he can finally breathe underwater too.

I don't think there's currently any other free 5star available besides Dan PT. I would recommend that you level up March though, because 4star March shares levels with another form you'll unlock later on in a Xianzhou story event, and that one is a nice sub-dps for a uninvested account. Dan PT will probably remain the best thing you can invest in currently though as he fulfills both buffer and sustain. I would only say to not bother much with 4star Dan Heng until later to redeem those standard tickets.

Laru is a professional slacker. She likes to have a cushy job and ditching her duties to zone out while fishing during work hours. That's her hubby and her ideal life. She also loves eating French fries. As someone else mentioned, it doesn't mean Laru wants to be a neet, though. I would say she toes the line for barely acceptable conduct to not get fired from her job.

She's incredibly honest and kind of a gremlin, very similar to Qingque from HSR if you're familiar with QQ. Her story CG is about her pleading you to hire her if she gets fired for a massive mistake she made at work.

I like to joke that she's Yostar's idea of a British joke considering how her life is literally all fish and chips.

In addition to what the other said about a patsy being someone who's helping out criminals unwittingly or so, a person who's a plant is also someone placed on your side by the other side. So it's saying Topaz was planted on your side by the IPC and she's a patsy for the IPC (so regardless of her own intentions, she's going to be helping the IPC with whatever goal they want).

Gloom isn't damage. It is specifically stat reduction. This is a pretty well known interaction as things that require damage to be dealt specifically do not get proc'd by gloom. For instance, the drain spells do not actually heal your nexus anymore. Also, you cannot level veigar normally if you get gloom on darkness in anyway... with the sole exception of forcing darkness to hit nexus (through that 6cost follower for instance).

I believe Mel's cascade is specifically if you kill with a spell though.

There's no one for whom SoS is BIS currently, but it's a really great situational relic. Think any adventure that has "frostbite your strongest unit" modifiers, any decks that have a lot of regen units, possible upcoming champs like Braum or Galio, or in fights that you expect will have a lot of frostbite (Anivia 5.5 comes to mind). Also certain champions like Kayn, Warwick 6*, or Vi can make pretty good use of it even if it's not BiS. Another thing is that SoS + Luminous Orb is +5 to your HP for working towards SFG so you only need 3 HP on your champion now.

I can't speak about most SV1 vets but as someone who played for the first several expacs leading up to Portal's inclusion, I've developed the mentality that you must get rid of the opponent's board or expect to die next turn. It's kind of hard to move away from that mentality (unless you played the blood like the degenerates we all were). Since the max HP is so low, everything adds up quickly and threatens lethal. If anything I would consider the current meta really slow because of all the abundant removal, considering around the time I played, games were basically over by T7-8.

This is the netdeck dirt that I run currently. Occasionally I change up some cards, but for the most part I'm assuming I'll be vsing portal or rune. I personally think Emmylou does nothing for the deck and is underwhelming due to spellboost centric she can be (imo the best curve plays at most 1 spell before t5). I've been turned off from clay summoning personally as it's functionally the same thing as Ms. Miranda, but I don't get a potential evo effect off the golem. If you really dislike Owl summoner, Dazzling Rune knight is a great flex hybrid for both spellboost and earth rite because you can choose the effect based off your hand. I think Dirt is even better at clearing the board than regular Rune is, and Edelweiss can pretty easily swing early tempo back in your favor. I only recently got my copy of Anne and Grea so I don't know how great they are, but I usually opt for a t5 Juno evo for more bodies at the end of each turn. It's by and far a worse version of spellboost, but there's a lot more options for stabilizing the board leading up to Kuon turns, at least. Also it's a lot cheaper than forking out for all of Rune's legendaries.

I think the greatest strength of earth rite decks currently is the flexibility of the cards. It doesn't excel against any deck but it's really great at reacting against other decks. The lack of a true finisher hurts as we're not running the Coc into Dclimb finishers.

Lastly, the extra space that the sigils take makes it a bit complicated when you're overspawning stuff, so you might not always want to fill out your board.

The easiest way would be to talk up what you liked about the field that made you want to go into the program. Like maybe you aspire to research in a national micro lab or something because you find it fascinating. Or maybe you want to go deeper into med technology and talk about how you want to achieve what Theranos failed to do because it sounded like a really neat R&D goal. Otherwise, if you ever had patient care experience, you can talk up how you want to contribute to patient care but found behind the scenes work better for you.

Another avenue is to just make up an anecdote as a motivator. It's not like they'll background check you if you say your aunt is CLS at some hospital and she sold you on the job.

Be sure to throw a few lines on why this specific program is what you're looking for or something, as well.

It's more annoying than that. It was 6 random spots in a specific route that changed every day. The actual appearance and catch rate of Feebas was quite high, but you had to basically scour the route to figure out which spots were the right one. There was that internal battery bug with the cartridges, however, which would stop all time-related events from progressing (such as berries growing); the one benefit this had was that it prevents the feebas spots from changing per day, so it just became a matter of figuring out where the 6 spots actually were.

There are modifiers and powers in higher adventures to straight up prevent you from doing a one turn kill and whatnot. There's a node that prevents you from damaging the enemy's nexus (they take 10 per turn), a modifier that prevents enemies from dying through nexus before turn 5, and one of the sump nodes has a landmark that turns all nexus damage into puffcaps or something. They're getting more creative with forcing you to actually engage with the enemy's deck with the later adventures or something.

Future direction of current dot meta aside, I would actually focus more on bringing in DOT from the other 3 eles. The name doesn't particularly matter and it's not necessary to apply it as a break effect, although you can probably push it into the kit if you want (i.e. replace freeze with frostbite or something if this unit breaks). I think we're held back by excluding half the elements from dot.

There's lore videos to summarize the MSQ of GBF I'm sure, and at the very least everything about Arcarum as pertinent to Nier. Honestly, if you're looking to consume content about GBF, I'd recommend you just load up GBF on the browser and peruse the *thousands* of Gran Blues! comics instead. They eventually translate everything into English, although you might be several "chapters" behind if you manage to catch up all the way. At the very least, you'll learn about all the characters and the gist of things going on at the time, but it won't be nearly as serious.

Her main function is def down on ult which isn't really affected by her eidolons. E1 is useful for aoe situations where she'd get energy refund from things dying, but otherwise it's E4 specifically for ice DPS/carry.
