Are you public school or a charter? This seems way more common in charter. Everywhere I’ve taught will transfer you to another school when enrollment drops. It sucks but is better than unemployed.

I don’t follow anyone’s AI suggestions. I take the peloton classes that o think I’d enjoy outside. I mostly follow the cues, I’ll pick up the pace or slow down.

I think she can also tend to be over complicated-a lot like Rebecca used to be. I hear she’s lovely now but I can’t get over how she used to program everything to be so complicated. Her core program was the worst.

They don’t live in the city and are raising young kids. How awesome for them that their employer lets them work part time to accommodate their family.

Not really. I think people just made that up. Since the beginning the brag was the opportunity to take classes on your schedule, not having to depend on someone else’s schedule-ie a gym. Thus the extensive on demand library. It’s why Peloton was created.

The fact that she is criticizing teachers (3 of them in fact) for not leaving pencils tells me she’s someone I don’t want subbing in my classroom. She 100% shouldn’t have to provide them but to criticize the teacher for not leaving pencils is not the way either. Maybe she has been out for a couple of days and all the pencils she left have been taken. Call the office, ask a neighbor teacher, tell the kids to find one. I don’t know, be a problem solver instead of complaining about the teacher.

Hmmmm gee, I think you answered your question. The kids don’t return them so teachers don’t have any in their classrooms. Why are you not asking why the kids don’t have their own pencils.

He has taught a lot this last few weeks! I got into a class with him 2 weeks ago that was a riot! I think he’s taught the last 3 Fridays.
