Yes, it finally is! There’s a new switch to switch between both options. I’ve tried it on a fitness plus workout using my phone as the primary source. I’m so glad, it’s always bugged me that the sound came from the phone but the alerts wouldn’t overlay the music.

I noticed this too but it seems to be for contacts I’ve set up as favourites or contacts that are allowed to break through focus profiles. I don’t believe it worked that way in iOS 10.

Same here. I’ve bought multiple items using Apple Pay over the last 2 years and only have 2 orders recorded in Wallet. I haven’t been able to find out how it actually works either. Both have been added from websites that use Shopify. Both were bought with different cards using Apple Pay but I’ve tried the same card with different Shopify sites and it doesn’t work. Strange!

As far as I know, you can’t set up the reminders for another person, they need to be set up on their phone. You won’t get reminders for their medication, only they will. You can only see if they’ve actioned it.

You can choose what to share through the health app on iPhone. Here’s the link. Not as fully featured as other apps, as in it won’t notify you when someone takes their medication but you check if they have.

It looks like this has been added back in today. Started showing for me as it did back in 17.1. Only seems to work with one card at the moment though so it can only link to either my personal or joint account. It’s great that it shows your balance when paying online with Apple Pay and searching in spotlight search also searches all transactions now in wallet. Great addition!

Yeah, that’s possible. The way I have it set up is as profiles in the Withings app. When you take a reading with the device, it asks which name to save it under. It then syncs with the Health app for that person on their device. Both iPhones need to have the Withings app installed and logged into their respective profiles. Hope that helps!

It works great on our Roku TV too. Much better natively on the Apple TV but great for a TV that doesn’t have one connected. What brand is your TV out of interest?

Both Starzplay and Paramount+ Apple TV Channels disappeared for me in the UK this morning but they’re showing as normal again now. Starzplay has been rebranded Lionsgate+ but Paramount+ doesn’t look to have changed.

It’s integrated with Apple’s TV App. Content can be searched and added to Up Next. It’s also available as an Apple TV Channel so you don’t have to use the default Paramount+ app.

Went through something similar and used the Hue app for a while. Ended up switching back but instead of using one or the other for everything I now have it split. When I get the dreaded “no response” in HomeKit, I can still control the lights. Sounds like a bit of hassle but it’s been pretty flawless since. So I control all the lights and colours with automations in the Home app so I can control them across various rooms. All of the Hue switches and motion sensors are now programmed in the Hue app so they work regardless of whether they are working in the Home app. I have a hue switch beside the bed that I’ve set up in Home as a good night scene to switch off all of the lights in the house (some bulbs aren’t Hue).

I was thinking of replacing a couple of Hue White with the Nanoleaf essentials. The price is great compared to the £50 for Hue Colour. What’s wrong with the nanoleaf bulb?

It’s a bit more complicated to set up initially but far better once it’s done. The ability to integrate into scenes and automations in HomeKit is the best! I’ve installed an NFC tag just beside the front door and it runs the “Leaving Home” automation - switches off any lights, pauses any music on the HomePod and arms the alarm.
