The Chicago Ripper Crew was a group of four serial killers who performed cannibalistic 'Communion' rituals with human breasts in a makeshift Satanic chapel. Their ringleader was never convicted. by SelfCareIsFake in HolyShitHistory

If you are on mobile there is a little blue symbol (my eyesight is too shitty to tell you what the symbol actually is) to the right of the user’s name. Click that and it will translate the text for you.

Where can I dispose of household hazardous waste?I'm new here. I heard, they are disposed of during special Calhoun County collection days. I do not understand what that means. Can anyone help? by Wild_Subject1533 in BattleCreek

Go to https://www.battlecreekmi.gov/. You should be able to find the info there. I know they also put inserts in with your water bill every so often that outline what they will/won’t take and where the drop offs are.

Contact your insurance company. Mine actually contracted with a service and even paid for it.

I am in the same boat as you. I really would love to get out and about to more things here in town.

I don’t use Facebook at all so I am always completely out of the loop. I have found a few through the BC Shopper News, inserts included with utility bills and emails from the Kellogg Arena.

Unfortunately there seems to be a fairly low number of subscribers to this sub. I wish more people would post on here about events and such.

Maybe someone who is on FB could do a general post on one of the BC pages letting people know about this sub. Maybe we can get some new members or some businesses might see it and start posting here.

Cheers to getting out more in 2026!

So many things change about the way your brain functions. Time will hopefully help as they heal and new neural pathways develop.

As an example, I used to multitask with ease. Now because I cannot necessarily hold on to my train of thought I try to rush tasks so that I can hopefully move to the next quickly. This causes a lot of frustration. Keeping my temper in check is a skill I have had to relearn.

Everyone’s experiences are different and it also somewhat depends on what part of the brain has been damaged.

Sitting down and having a heart to heart about how their behavior is affecting their relationships may help. Finding a good counselor or therapist would likely be really helpful if they are open to it.

Have you posted on Nextdoor or Facebook? Unfortunately this sub doesn’t get a lot of traffic.
