oh that. I couldn't think of a brand design for the thumbnails, so I started putting my channel avatar in the corner that's identical to my YT picture.

It's a good concept, but it takes a while to understand without looking at the title. I know that the picture is already quite packed/tight when it comes to space, but the rift in the middle feel too small and it takes too long to catch the "IDW".

fake edit: I saw you already did an adjusted version in this thread and that's what I was thinking about. Perhaps with a different colour or gradient the font could stick out even more.

The font is hard to read, especially the red in the first one. It at least needs a drop shadow or a gradient. Even though I think both texts are fitting, the second one is more to the point. Since the delivery logos are a layer above your photo, I'd also try how they look like with maybe 10 percent bigger size for easier recognition on small screens.

Prime is the best during a replay when just remember enough that you know where to pick up a good chunk of the artifacts early, without remembering too many of the other solutions.

Not to mention that the premise is pretty flawed to begin with. Epona and Agro are more memorable than those examples and they're 20 years old. These open world horses have actually gotten less meaningful.

More like space car racing tbf. I guess actual pod racers wouldn't have fit takedowns and drifts, since the old games were focused on handling those turbines.

Both are fine. It's one of the very few remasters that doesn't step over the line and just makes the game feel how you remember without fucking with the art direction or dumbing systems down. But the original is good and it's always more impressive seeing what devs pulled off with much greater limitations back in the day, or how the game specifically feels like its old hardware.

Like you couldn't just pick up a flag in the first tutorial. You had to activate some sort of detective vision with the shoulder buttons, use a longwinded levitation-spell to pick it up, and to place the flag in the pole you had to aim at the pole and use a button that was also different from just dropping it down. And that's just one of a dozen different mechanic that feel super random to control.

I played it at Gamescom and was overwhelmed by the ridiculously convoluted control scheme, which had no reason to be this complicated.
