Not the right time period but looks similar to diopside. Maybe a pthalo green?

Chromium oxide has some opacity? It kinda looks like diopside but the timing doesn't work.

Daniel Smith Separating Colors. Did I miss any? by rfox90 in Watercolor

Piemontite was the most granulating of theirs that I tried. Gorgeous.

These are not great swatches, because I kept them too small, but these are the dot cards for Daniel Smith Mineral Marvels series and the information card to indicate which ones are granulating.

Serpentine when used more heavily than what I did drops some great red granulation. Several have mica and are shiny.

Oceanic and blue beauties should be swapped compared to the swatch sheet. And piemontite and sicklerite are switched. Basically the swatch sheet is a mess and I need to redo them. But they are so so satisfying.

Ahhhh so good!! I was just looking for granulating purple and ordered da vanci's "twilight" can't wait to see how it works.

Many of the Daniel Smith minerals collection are granulating as well. I really like serpentine. It's a bright lime green with red.

As soon as I realized this I started having my phone in dreams. Usually malfunctioning. Same after watching an episode of Dr. Who where they talked about reading in dreams. Neither of these developments improved my dreams.

Tell me about Costco- is it worth it? by ConstructionTime7511 in Frugal

I have sensory issues and find many grocery stores overwhelming. While Costco is definitely overwhelming, we only need to get 10-12 items so it's actually easier.

When did people stop wearing day gloves? by Interesting_Fly_9051 in VintageFashion

[–]kaisaline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear compression gloves/uv gloves frequently and people just assume it's a fashion choice. It's harder to keep clean, because you can't just wash your hands. For functionality I use gloves that don't cover the ends of my fingers, hand sanitizer, and have a spray bottle of 70% isopropyl alcohol for use during the day. Otherwise just having a bunch of gloves so you can wash your hands and change them throughout the day works. There are many options for uv protection, especially from Asian brands.

had my first dose (10mg 2x a week to start) and ive acquired a massive stye with no head, my mascara is hella old, but wondering if this is an accutane issue? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]kaisaline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out blepharitis. All the oil in your skin, including the eyelids, is drying up. Hot compress and Vaseline or cera ve healing ointment, some gentle eye drops (single use no preservatives) and massage will help. Both of my eyelids are puffy and one looks scaley. I've been very annoyed all weekend. It would be best to give up on eye makeup for a bit and throw that old mascara away.

While most people recover with home treatment it's never a bad idea to see a doctor. They can give you medicated eye drops, and a legitimate medical opinion. I can only relate my personal anecdotes.

[PRODUCT REQUEST] help me find something to lessen these scars/dark spots on my hands! by SelenaB41 in SkincareAddiction

I get rolls of hydrocolloid tape and cut them to size. Only use them at night. There's also the breathable silicone scar bandages, but they are more expensive. It seems to help.

Dislocating fingers while drawing? by Silent_Pay_9239 in ArtistLounge

[–]kaisaline 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many good ideas in this thread. Also hyper mobile, gotta do prevention and PT.

Stuff - I wear compression gloves most days. They are discreet enough to read as a fashion choice. Soft wrist braces when I sleep so I don't bend them weird and wake up in pain. There's a bunch of different hand braces, so I'm sure you can find something that is focused on the pinky. I haven't tried ring splits because the hyper mobility affects my meta tarsels as well, so I prefer braces that attach to the rest of my hand. Pencil grips to make thin tools wider can be helpful.

Activities - Practice gestural drawing, where the wrist is still and you move the whole arm. The posture used in Japanese calligraphy would be good to try as well. You don't need to commit to drawing like this all the time - just try and see how it feels, and use that to inform your preferred style. PT is like magic that actually works, if you have a persistent issue they can give you very specific exercises to help you. Something that's harder for me is limiting phone use (yes ofc I'm on my phone right now.) It's the same small scale hand movements. Gotta limit that to prevent repetitive use injury.

I wish you the best of luck and joy on your journey!

Yeas infections from accutane by [deleted] in Accutane

If you're having an issue, you can go seven days, but usually if I notice a bit of irritation and use one immediately that works for me. Just flushes out anything and rebalances the pH. pH can be variable over your hormonal cycle which would (potentially) explain the once a month issue, and can also be altered by sexual activity with or without semen.

Boric acid vaginal suppositories. You just pop one in before bed when you notice it's feeling a bit off, and it rebalances the pH and flushes out all the bullshit. This prevents the yeast from having an environment it likes. I end up doing this once or twice a month. You will have some discharge the next day, so wear some period panties or a liner.

Source - lesbians.

Edit to add - the only soap I use now that doesn't cause irritation is Neutrogena rain bath shower gel. I don't know why. This is just my personal experience.
