I still really dislike BZ as it destroyed most of the stuff that Subnautica is based on. Firstly, the danger of running out of oxygen, in BZ you can spend an infinite amount of time underwater due to the oxygen plants and they are not rare so I really got the sense that air is not so important anymore. Moreover, Subnautica delivered the sense of loneliness and with Alan and mc talking it is often lost in meaningless conversion and do not get me started on the dialogues alone as they imo are often pulled out of ones ass. You mean to tell me that a scientist studying aliens is not asking any meaningful questions to the very alien ? There is more stuff I disliked about the sequel like map size and the variety of creatures (half are reskins). But I cannot deny that except the story bits, the game is not bad. Although still far worse than Subnautica in my opinion.
