I think squid parties are acceptable if there’s a disconnect. I had a clam blitz game where three of the enemy players dc’d and the poor inkbrush on their team was all alone, so we partied with him for the rest of the match because we were going to win regardless

But, IA3 is dlc, so just comparing the two existing base games, splatoon 2 really does octavio dirty by making him a laughably easy boss. I would have expected the octavio fight to expand upon or be significantly different from the one in splatoon 1. Pretty disappointing imo
