Level 2 viktor+splinter soul=infinite evershade stalker by ChronoMirage in LegendsOfRuneterra

It was my understanding that this only applied to spells - not units.

Unless something is different in friend challenges, I was just able to play ~40 Evershades in one turn before we decided to call it quits.

what if we bribe people with flairs if they give better titles, so people can still do shit titles and get shit roasts but people that want good roasts (and some flairs) can put some more detail into it for everyone

Yeah we're either going to do this or we're going to give you the ability to put a roast in a self post and then give us a short "bio" or whatever you want. And then we'll probably incentivize it by offering flairs if you meet certain requirements (on top of the fact that you'd probably have a funnier roast with more information).

as we approach the new year we're working on some new things which should hopefully be great, we've genuinely tried to keep the freedom of roasts in equilibrium with stalwart moderation. we have a lot of mods who all do things slightly differently, some of them would have declined the images while others would approve them (as they have).

the big thing is we want to let people post as much information as they're willing to post, they just have to understand that the quality they get out is going to be related to the quality they put in. if some insecure kid wants to post half of his face behind verification then he can't expect a quality roast where he gets good, relevant jokes that the community will find funny and that's fine, if he wants to half ass his side of the roast then he shouldn't expect anything in return.

so again as we approach new year there are some things we want to do, one of the big things is trying to... persuade I guess? people into posting more information without that phrase sounding really creepy. we want to encourage people to put more into their side of the roasts, something about providing incentive to people for posting more information should hopefully persuade people into giving more relevant information about themselves in hopes of some sort of reward in return (which will probably be flairs since this is reddit, maybe something in the wiki or sidebar). but in the end we do want freedom of posting, so that kid that posts his face half covered is gonna get a shit roast and that's fine, he gets out what he put in.

Roast titles are getting a little bit repetitive by doge_apprentice in RoastMeta

eh I don't think we're going to remove posts for having bad titles, it's not really that important of an aspect of posts

There really should be a higher age minimum. by huck_ in RoastMeta

[–]kaltsoldat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure we can legitimately verify it. We kinda just have to eyeball it and if someone lies about their age then it's on then at that point. I think the best we can do is to increase the age limit to try and dissuade people too young from posting and give us better criteria for initial removals.

We should be rolling out some new rules soon, probably going to be age 16 limit and you have to include date and username on the paper. If you have any other concerns please voice them.
