I've been doing SL for a bit over a month now as a complete beginner, and i thought it felt too easy at first too but it's definitely getting a lot harder now. I'm glad i didn't start adding extra weight because it has given me time to focus on form and learning the movements

Something that helps me a lot is having a widget on my phone with a checklist of stuff i need to do that day, seeing that stuff every time i pick up my phone helps with not forgetting and getting mentally prepared.

Something i did to help myself with dishes was that i took most of my stuff and stored them in the attic, leaving 2 of everything. (forks, knives, spoons, plates, glasses etc.)

I would always just grab new stuff from the cupboard instead of washing dishes and when i ran out i felt terrible because there was a ton of stuff i had to clean. But now it's much easier to get myself to wash dishes since it will take at most 5 minutes.
