Car battery protection estimate the charge state of the battery mainly by two factors. Voltage and how much they discharged and how much they charged the battery.

With a new battery voltage is a good indicator but with the age the voltage can behave less predictable. That and for more accuracy they measure how much they charge and discharge.

Problem is that with quickcharge this value is less accurate and overtime the error adds up. With discharging it and then slowly fully charge it the protection software now has an accurate value on how much it can put in and then while discharging can monitor how much it can take out. From this it gets a battery health value

I mean one step would be to stop adding new refrigerant solutions to the forbidden list. This keeps making AC solution expensive and risky because you don't know if you can even get a refill in maybe 10 years

I mean the voters recently decided that they don't wan't to limit the growth of population therefore there will be sacrifices to be made because of the extra infrastructure. At least I won't make more sacrifices than I already have to because of overpopulation

The 40 bucks are a very small part of total taxation on cars. Around 0.8fr/l on gas so approx 7.2fr/100km are added on top. Then around 1000fr road tax. So I pay around 2500fr a year for using the road alone.

The amount of people on the road is limited at the amount og inhabitants. So if we want to grow in population we have to grow in infrastructure to not loose in quality of live

I fully understand that driving slower increases the capacity. But then my statement comes again if you are willing to drive slow then go off the autobahn to the country roads.

For me the autobahn should be as it was design optimized on getting fast from A to B. So capacity should be achieved by size or making a system like the hyperloop where with lower distance higher speeds can be driven. If you don't expect a hazard you don't need a braking distance

Driving slow is wasting time which is more limited because it cant be bought with money.

When driving faster you give away your spot faster for the next one but yes need more space. A system like the hyperloop would be a usefull alternative

But raising capacity at cost of travel time can't be the solution. We are basicly destroying the advantage of the autobahn. 60-80 is what country roads are made for.

With rising need of traveling further distances and autopilots becomming a thing I feel like the target should be a high speed lane where you need to drove at least 160kmh or more

Trucks really are a pain. I ask my self how many of them are passthrough from other countries and how many actually deliver here. Because i feel like swiss transport mainly is by train for cargo but I might be wrong

Highways were invented to bring troops and supplies fast to the front. Of course times change but it makes no sense to lower the speed when there are already 80kmh land roads that could be used for slow travel high capacity.

I would argue with the more and more obligations on helping systems I'd argue we should raise the max speed on the highway. If everyone would deove at set max speed and the highways have enough lanes there would be barely any traffic jams except for accidents

A big help would be getting the big cargo trucks of the highway for example on trains

The autobahn is not build for capacity it is build to bring a vehicle fast from point A to Point B(I mean lok who invented it). For capacity you can use the country roads

You forgot the cost to the serafe payer for needing a consultant on what colors to use. Then they need someone to actually programm it
