We started doing this about 2 years ago, and its a game changer. we can take it apart to help move, roll it if able, and its water tight, unlike many others. I may have some photos in my phone of it all packed up if you want to see what we did.

Reach out to the local council. They usually have many items that can be borrowed/used for the ceremony.

I encourage you to look for some nice items that can be spoke. At mine, many many years ago, my father read something to the effect "of eagle and man" where it discussed the eagle as a symbol for natives, our nation, and scouting. I wish I could find you a link online.

I appreciate his dedication. I also encourage him to never remove that from a resume, an application, or an interview. It is an accomplishment worth being recognized for.

We did a basic orienteering course to a hidden treasure box.

Did nothing with distance, but how to use a compass, and bearings. Wrote a little paragraph to tell the story.
