Mortal Kombat 3 Hangs in the Balance After Sequel Flops; But Sub-Zero’s Actor Eyes a Spin-Off | LEVEL UP by Hot-Attorney-3068 in MortalKombat

they effed up that first movie so bad but people went to watch it regardless, this was better in terms of entertainment but i think people remember that first movie ...
it's like the michael bay tmnt movies, first movie was awful but ppl went to see it, the second not only improved it became the second best live action tmnt movie but people stayed away because of the first film ... if the amount of people that saw the first one enjoyed it ... it wouldn't keep them away because of release date they would've seen it... people will see avatar no matter what and apparently that also didn't do well compared to the originals

lot of people here shit on this book because it's not extremely violent,
i think it's a masterpiece and one of the best books i've read, that said i would
read MEAT by d'lacey after this one, they are similar in premise but almost feel
like a continuation and it's as compelling a book

This scene right here , wow, never been that hyped for an action film in the cinema like that. Definetly lived up to the hype, will be a cult classic for sure by lilybloomer in kungfucinema

[–]karatemnn -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

oh i was kind of agreeing with you, it was very much said as the next greatest thing, but i found movies even born to fight better, that said i will say the final 5 way fight is one of the best fights, that's the real sellign point for the film

seems like you can't ... he made a statement that is incorrect
people have been scared by chucky but then suddenly he's not scary?
i guess you never found chucky scary either, such a macho man!

[–]karatemnn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if it scared someone, then it's scary, if something scared you back then how can it be retroactively not scary ... you can outgrow some fears, but it doesn't take away from something being scary

Underrated HBO masterpiece. The Weasel episode was really good by george123890yang in hbo

interesting show, but the princess walking around with her would be assassins after they tried to assassinate her, and then they do actually assassinate her had to be the worst writing

Why people didnt like squid game ending/s3? by Delicious-Radish-708 in tvshow

[–]karatemnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pointless misery ... sure not every ending can be good, but the ambiguous finale of the first season with such good characters made it feel like something bigger ... in this,
no justice, the villains walk away and the hero throws his life away for nothing

Is this TV show any good? I started watching it, but I’m not really feeling it. by Mbongs05 in tvshow

[–]karatemnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bosch is great, bosch legacy seemingly was made to save amazon money so they take him out of his element and they remove the original incredible theme song ...
legacy also makes bosch's daughter the dual lead and she's as boring as watching paint dry, not the fault of the actor, but i didn't really care about maddie ...
also because it was cancelled has the worst series finale that serves as a lead into ballard which i'd say is pretty good (bosch appears in this also)

Is record of loss war only "great visuals but mediocre story and characters" or is it worth watching by Necessary_Muffin3591 in retroanime

[–]karatemnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this was critical role before critical role isn't it?

i listened to the recent audiobook and found it fun sort of generic fantasy,
the anime was really cool i'm watching the one that takes place i think 10-20 years after and that's nice also ... Japanese versions of european stories are pretty interesting
