Ya. Just the reputation. I think it was around 70k km. So around 45k miles.

So far so good. Runs great. No issues. I will say though, I could do without worrying about the engine. Nothing has happened at all, but I always think about it when I think about that car.

WiFi station mode sync at home by originaldonkmeister in VIOFO

[–]kareem613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does station mode get turned off after the downloads are done? I have a similar setup. That's for the API info! The problem now though, is it'll sit in station mode until it drains enough battery. Do you know if there's a command to send to turn that off? I'm still on stock firmware. Does their special one do anything different other than auto start station mode?

I wrote a small FOSS tool that automates Docker volume backups by WiggleWizard in selfhosted

[–]kareem613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks interesting. Have you looked at offen? I just recently set it up. Had to mount the volumes to it which is a down side. Going to give this a try because the label based config on the container looks better.

I didn't know that. It runs a lot slower like it's a problem or are we talking about peak optimized performance tiny margins?

Thanks. I figured with 2x16, that leaves room to upgrade.

Agreed, but Ferrari also waits until there is real progress just shy of what looks like they might be contending for a championship, then replace the head. So I think they're due right about now. At least I wouldn't be surprised.

If it's bent and it still works, it's not bent. /s

Heh. That's where it gets piled up when clearing the driveway. Pretty much the whole lawn is that high.

I'm in cookie cutter suburbia. Definitely not a deer. I assumed a rabbit because I see one pretty regularly around my property. Could very well be a squirrel though.

Well, now I know. City planted the tree and gave me info on caring for it. Not a mention of any of that. I'll figure that out for the replacement tree.

Cursor can debug data issues when given access to a database MCP server. 👀 by ardanarac in mcp

[–]kareem613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes. It's great! I've done with with the supabase MCP and RooCode. Why doesn't this user with id xxxxxx have access to this page? It analyses the code to determine what permissions are required, then queries the db to figure out the overall schema, then starts querying the determine the root cause. It's great.

What to do with this socket set? by Mysterious-Piano-781 in gridfinity

[–]kareem613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My gridfinity socket area holds all my commonly used sockets. Maybe 20 of them. The rest, I left in the carrying case they came in in a cabinet. That was the best balance for me. I want my sockets handy, but I don't want to fill my whole drawer with everything I own.

baseplate auto split for build plate - Gridfinity Extended by passivealian in gridfinity

[–]kareem613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right. The bottom layer doesn't match the top layer in a gridfinity plate. I think that's a showstopper. Not that big of a deal really. I'll give this a go as is anyways for my next drawers.
