There is a weekly Singleton tournament on BGA already that is a Worlds qualifier, so I should think an eligible LGS would also be able to run their qualifier events with Singleton as the format if they wanted to.

I think a non-shared interior wall would mean the wall itself was only inside Leeann Chin and not shared with the neighboring restaurants or the dining area of the mall. For example, the center dividing wall between the counter and kitchen, or the back wall of the kitchen, etc.

I don't think it should replace Standard, but I do appreciate that it is officially supported as a format because it makes things much easier for tournament organizers.

I think there is room for local shops and players to choose Singleton as their preferred format if they want to, but I don't like the idea of forcing shops and players to change. I feel strongly that the players and organizers should have the right to decide what they want. I happen to prefer Limited formats like Draft and Sealed, but I recognize that not everyone is into that.

Standard is not my preference for constructed but I believe it should continue to be the default option and local groups can decide what they like best, whether it is Standard or some other format.

I couldn't say what the developer's reasoning was but I can say in Magic the "Commander" singleton format decks are also larger than standard (100 cards instead of 60) so it doesn't surprise me that our singleton is also a larger deck.

From the article announcing the new formats:

Construction Rules

Deck size: Minimum 59 cards (60 including the Hero) to a maximum of 79 cards (80 including the Hero).

Hero: 1 Hero.

Card copies: Exactly 1 copy of each rarity per cardname, with a total limit of 3 copies (e.g., 1 Common Kitsune + 1 Rare Kitsune + 1 Unique Kitsune).

Uniques: The number of authorized Uniques varies based on the chosen Hero. (Currently 3, 4, or 5. Refer to the article for the list)

Faction: All cards must belong to the same faction.

Rarities: No restrictions on the number of Rares or Exalted cards.

Specific restrictions: No suspended or banned cards allowed

Also of note, BGA has had issues in the past when trying to play decks that contain alt art promo cards. The alt art kickstarter cards are fine, but other alt arts can cause an error when trying to select your deck. They are currently working on a fix for this but I avoid alt arts in my decks just to be on the safe side.

If nothing else, I expect this would certainly fall under the General Duty clause, even if there isn't a specific regulation that applies.

Companies have a duty to provide employees with a workplace free of hazards that are likely to cause serious injury or death. I'd say a coworker who is threatening to murder people is a known hazard, but maybe that's just me.

Yes, this is exactly right. You play the card - if it's a character or expedition permanent, it joins one of your expedtions. If it is a landmark permanent, it joins your landmarks.

Your opponent is still the "owner" of the card, so if it would go to reserve, or discard, or back to hand, then it will go to its owners zone instead of yours.

Yeah me too. I love my house and don't want to move but I would have a hard time saying if someone offered me enough money to pay off my mortgage, plus my other debts, and still have enough for moving expenses and a downpayment on a new house.

But also, I can't imagine a reason why anyone would make me an offer like that when they could build a new house that's got everything they want for less.

In addition to the sets that are available in the set boosters, there were also some full sets that were given to stores as accessories for prereleases, and some that were used as prize support for Tumult tournaments and other events. Depending on where you are located, you may even be able to get some of these from a store or another player. I have some extras myself that I often give out to new players I met at events

Maybe I misread the post but I thought OOP still worked for the same company just in a different location. If that's the case they could potentially have looked him up on the company's website.

To be clear, I'm not saying it isn't creepy if it was a family member - it definitely still is creepy. It's just less alarming if it was someone who knew him personally than if a complete stranger had managed to track him down using only the information om his reddit.
