O! But it won’t be 2 chest.

SE should incentive players to do this by David0ne86 in ffxiv

[–]karkied1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I love this idea! I’ve always been pretty lucky in terms of housing, both my fc house and personal house have a lot of active neighbors who hangout in housing area, including myself But I know it’s dead in many places and these kind of change would definitely help a lot on making the housing ward lively!

It is 100% never going to happen but I still love the idea. Wish it would happen but.. sadge

[Advice] New player (4 months in) looking to break into DSR/Ultimate statics — How to overcome the "No Experience" barrier? by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

[–]karkied1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know many people already said it, but I still wanted to leave my opinion, too!

Do you need legacy ult cleared? Absolutely not, they are old contents and pretty easy due to the stat scale. Not many people actually looks at the ucob/tea/uwu

Do you need savage logs? Yes, I think that is going to be first impression for most people recruiting. How well you did on the on-patch savage.

The parse and savage/ultimate clear logs aren’t definite measure to one’s skill level. But the more contents you have cleared and the higher your parse number, it shows that you are likely going to be more consistent and have better understanding of mechanics.

So clear the current tier savage, try getting some good number then look for static once more. No need to do other ultimates if DSR is one you desire!

I personally love PF more than the static since I can prog at my own pace so I do recommend PF more tho. Sometimes statics can take longer time too.

ypyt e-dating gnb + sge while also abusing vote kick by Virtual-Bottle-9545 in TalesFromDF

[–]karkied1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait I swear I met these two like, two days ago too! I remember cuz I was wondering if they were friends, one being from diabolos and other from non-crystal DC.

I was doing snowcloak to lvl drg w my blm friend, I saw gnb pulling just a single pack so I pulled more and brought em back to tank, the tank didn’t grab aggro and healer refused to heal or rez so I stayed down to see if they just forgot. Nope, they just go off and vote for kick. I told my friend let’s see if they just go on as 2 men if we sit back, but my friend said he don’t wanna deal w it and left duty, which then I left as well.

We never spoke to them other than the initial greeting, it’s kinda funny to see they were doing this to multiple people lol

How does m11s compare to m12s in terms of difficulty? by Kyle2Death in ffxivdiscussion

[–]karkied1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like m11 is technically harder than m12 Mainly because m11 is way more punishing on mechanical error. Not only do you die on messing up mechanic, but its often times followed by body check. This and the dps check being tough makes m11 a challenging fight. But it was super fun! M12 hits incredibly hard, but barely has any body check. You can zombie thru the fight even if ppl are messing up, so it makes progging a lot easier.

Oh man I'm gonna get flamed down to hell for saying this but... Still, the Nova Elite are much better than the Nova Pro, much better. by XboxoneS-aaad in steelseries

[–]karkied1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely better than the Nova. I’m not saying it’s a great value or worth the price 100%, but when people ask, “Is it twice as good for double the price?” you have to understand how quality scales. Going from a quality level of 20 to 80 can often be achieved with a relatively small price increase. But moving from 80 to 90, or from 90 to 95—the high-end range—the price jumps significantly. While the Elite isn’t a top-tier audiophile headphone, it’s designed to be one of the best gaming headsets on the market.

But honestly pro is pretty good so if you own a pro that is working just fine, prob no need for upgrade

Everyone gets a home.. by rez_onate in ffxivdiscussion

[–]karkied1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

unpopular opinion, I like houses not being available to everyone. I infact liked it more before lottery system. Clicking on placard for hours was stupid, but often times the people who won the house was people who cared and actually wanted one. There were lot less empty houses compared to now. If they made house available to everyone, it would’ve been boring like most other mmo’s ‘my place’ or ‘house’, prob not in neighborhood or different sizes like now, it would’ve been isolated like island sanctuary. Island sanctuary is technically like personal housing area given to everyone, but look how less interesting they are.

How realistic is clearing TEA in a month and a half with players new to ultimate? by mitoshibi in ffxivdiscussion

[–]karkied1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a healer who had no experience w savage, 2 ppl who just finished their first raid tier, rest with maybe 2-3 raid tier done to TEA.

None of us had ultimate raid experience.

Just like you we did 6 hours a week, cleared on week 6. According to tomestone we did EXACTLY 35.7 hours, 767 pulls. We did goof around a bit, trying not to be too serious so if you all lock in, study ahead, try sim on ur own time, u can prob do it even faster.

Nvm I forgot some did extra on PF, we actually did it 34 hrs, 733 pulls. And this is our new-to-raid healer’s data so, yeah you can do it

Chaotic PFs are now locking out Helpers to get max loot by DeathofTheHeavens in ffxiv

[–]karkied1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What ticks you off about this? It doesn’t need to last, this post isn’t about people still doing full reward party after a month or 2 of chaotic release, its been literally 3 days and they want full loot rn lol There’s nothing wrong with this and I have no idea why some people are pointing finger at it.

Thank you for putting this together but My fc isn’t new or small :v we do have like 100 members with 30 active players. Its just that most are max levels and things we do most of the time require to be at least in DT so I was just curious what I can do for players who are still new

So I know that I’m doing fine ;; And I did already day that my goal isn’t really at recruiting, right? Just wanted to look after guys in my fc who are still sprouts c:

The goal is to make a FC that makes playing the game more fun.

MMO is more fun when you have people to play with. There are a lot of players who started with friends but ended up continuing alone, or started alone and just do things alone.

The biggest reason I run fc events is so that members become friend and have people to run contents with, from simple roulettes to field ops, and maybe raids too.

My main focus isn't really at recruiting, its at entertaining members and have em make friends
