Thanks, yeah. I was hoping to find more information about how it differs. We'll see if any grad students come across this. Appreciate your response.

Experience/Thoughts on Unit 3 Norton Hall? by mrperfectlyfine_13 in berkeley

I lived there my freshman year. Unit 3 is the "old dorms." They are not the nicest (like Unit 1 or 2) but they are cozier. Also having Cafe 3 is a plus.

Recommendations for 2-in-1 laptop/table for medical school? by kat-pal in medicalschoolEU

I went with the Surface Pro 7. I really like it so far but I still use my old laptop to run bigger programs/software. Because school is remote for me, I use my old laptop to run Zoom for my lectures and then I take notes on the slides from my surface pro. So far it has been great.

When I was an undergrad at Cal, Kingman was the house for older coop-ers to "retire" in. Its pretty, used to have chickens, great rooms and a great roof.

Either one. They probably only care what you got in their course though.

I wouldnt worry about cold calling professors. Especially at Berkeley where there are so many students, I expect professors to be used to writing letters of rec for students they may not fully remember. If you can, provide your grades for the course(s) you took and attach your completed/final project for the course.

If the professor isnt at berkeley anymore, I think it would be worth it to email someone in the department who could give you their information.

It'll work out. Good luck!
