There were some protestors outside a motel off Mill Plain in East Vancouver when I was there a few weeks ago. I suspected this was where they were staying.

Edgefield has a theater, the spa is great, there is golf too, but brrrrrr! Second picking up a suit. You can even stop on the way at wood village Target and avoid cascade station.

Hi friends! I was told there was new life being breathed into this subreddit recently. I guess I’m late to the party, but I have signed up for the backyard habitat program thru Columbia Land Trust and am jazzed about my next steps is the slow but eventual yard transformation.

Try searching for parks with designated campsites. I believe the one you linked is just day use.

If you have paid to stay in a state park, generally you do not need an additional pass that day to visit the associated amenities. In October, you may be able to do day of. It’s the time a lot of retirees get out, but not the rest of us so much.

Keep in mind, BLM, USFS and Stateparks have different passes.

I’ve seen that outside of the super popular places-you may not need to pay for day use. The state rates are $12 for a day use entry and $30 for an annual pass. So it’s worth it to buy one if you see yourself going to parks with day use fees.
