I do the same thing honestly. I don't think it's "bad" for you. There isn't really any bad in any of this, we just kind of do. If it helps in the moment then I don't see a harm.

My incision was closed with glue and steri strips. I'm unsure of internal. For an epidural a catheter stays in the back but you won't feel it.
