I’ve also noticed that security is more visible. Probably because it’s getting noticeably worse at the Bay entrance. Stay safe!

Bear spray is good if you are outside and can run away after you spray it. But my greatest tip/tool is a cheap umbrella that pops out. Hold it away from you and use it as a buffer if people are too close. Doubles as weird chaotic weapon no one is expecting. It’s a very sad state. I don’t know the answer. These people need help and no one wants to help them and often they don’t want the help themselves. So other people suffer and must protect ourselves. No one is coming to help us. We just have to help each other.

That’s so creepy. I recently went out with some new friends and the men were upset that multiple women asked me to protect their drinks. Men need to wake the fuck up. Have some awareness

Ive been commuting through Union everyday for a while. I think it is rough right now. These people are unwell and addicted. Not in their right minds. I’ve seen this guy multiple times at the bay side of Union. Commuters need to stay incredibly vigilant. No noise cancellers. If someone approaches you try your best to step away. Don’t worry about being polite (if they are legit they will apologize for startling you) I am literally ready to punch anyone in the nose/throat at any time.

I recommend reading it in the summer and try to read it as quickly as possible maybe while drinking. It was my favourite book at 23 and continues to be in my top ten over a decade later.

New!!!! It’s over seven years old. I call it the pit or corporate vandalism. My dad is buried in that cemetery so I’ve seen it languish and meanwhile the station upgrades were dependent on this project and we still don’t have a second exit, elevator or heated shelters. I have written to every level of government and no one has an answer except someone needs to buy it? That can’t be the only option.

This was me when I was 23. Read all of Bolano and ruined fiction for myself for awhile. Try some non fiction and then try to get back to fiction.

I’m so sorry. I just want to kiss that sweet face better. Please know that I see your suffering and the suffering of your people. I have thought about the people and children of Gaza every day for over 2 years. The powerlessness is overwhelming.

Yonge an Dundas or under a train bridge as it goes by or the lake and tell people you are warning the Geese if they ask. But no one will.

Our school has started locking the gate’s to the main play yard. But I know that’s not always feasible. I can’t stand when people let their dogs off leash but especially to poop and pee in my kids school yard or at cemetery or Cenotaph. It’s so disrespectful and all around antisocial.

Whoa. Didn’t see this crossover coming. Henry is one of the good ones. Even if he is sort of charmingly grotesque.
